windows XP driver issue
TheTerrorist_75 replied to iccaros's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
What SP level is the XP install updated to? Did you install the software previous to plugging in the hardware? If not unplug the hardware, completely uninstall any of the software remnants, reboot and try to install the software again. Once the software is installed correctly you can then plug in the hardware. -

hi ghorjus, i have the same problem as your right now can you send me a detailed instruction in how you solved you inverted image issue..thanks and i do appreciate your reply... Do you have an ASUS laptop? If so click the link for ASUS Support and input your laptop's information to get to the driver page. To identify your webcam open Device Manager, find your webcam in the list and obtain the PID number. Scroll down the ASUS driver list for webcams and select the one that matches yours. Make sure it is for 32-bit or 64-bit depending on your operating system. We do not email members with ins

Are you running Home Premium? If so gpedit is not available. Try this. Turn off AutoPlay for only one type of media Open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type autoplay, and then click AutoPlay. In the list next to each type of media that you don't want to be asked about, click Take no action, and then click Save.

windows registry scan and repair
TheTerrorist_75 replied to iccaros's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
If I need to remove old program's leftover entries from the registry due to conflict with installing new software I use jv16 and CCleaner. The most common reason for these removals is when changing anti-virus programs. Many do not completely uninstall and when installing a different product it may balk if it detects the old program's leftover entries. -

No worries about toxicity to your skin once it has dried. If you are concerned wear rubber gloves and one of those paper face masks while painting.
-
Heya, I also wanted to know about the toxicity, if you know this. Is there any possible health risk factors in the paint you suggest? I could probably look it up, but just in case you may know. Hmm... also regarding the hand rest ( which is just a slab of black plastic... ) do you know if it's coating that has rubbed off, or if it is smoothed out plastic from friction of my wrists? Just curious, I fix computers, but this is sort of out of my element lol. I would open a window when spraying any paint. I have never seen one of these keyboards so as for a coating I don't know. I would just

First I wipe down the surface with isopropyl alcohol to clean any grease from one's hands then I use 3M scuff pads to rough up the surface to remove loose old paint and let the new paint adhere. For painting plastic keyboards, monitors and etc. I use Krylon Fusion spray paint. Spray on the preferred color and let it cure. You can get the Krylon in what is called a Clear Coat to give a protective glossy finish once the color coat has cured.

What is the error number? -
Yes you can wax your laptop case. Turtle Wax applied every couple of months should keep it looking good. Do not use any cleaners that are not specifically for LCD screens on them. Glass cleaners contain solvents that will harm the screen's coating. They sell special cleaners and cloths for use on LCD. Your laptop's manual should have cleaning recommendations.

What a trip. I spent three days in the ER waiting for a room. The doctors performed a multitude of tests just to find out that I am healthy as a horse, except for my kidneys. The bacteria wasn't present. They figure the dialysis center didn't wait long enough after my course of antibiotics to redo the blood cultures. At least I finally had it confirmed that I did not have a heart attack as previously diagnosed by the two local hospitals here. In fact all the scans done show that my heart, lungs, new liver and arteries are in excellent condition.
-
I have the procedure down pat. There are a couple of public computers in the library. The nurses know where to look if I am gone.
-
Somehow a bacteria entered my blood system and the course of antibiotics prescribed failed to work. Now my transplant team wants my butt in the hospital for tests and an alternate course of treatment. Hopefully it won't be for long, but the last time lasted for 2 months. I will attempt to hijack one of the hospital's computers.
