  1. VLC seems to have a small memory leak.....
  2. I'm looking for a media player that plays EVERYTHING, and it needs to be extremly light weight. I dont care at all about the stupid skins, just give me my buttons and my video/audio. I've tried winamp, uses to many recourses, i've tried Media Player classic, but some codecs refuse to install, eg: .ogg, .mp4 are they any other ones?
  3. hmm deleting the cache worked for a day, then it happend again... the cookies arn't blocked,i checked. I even went and made sure it was allowed. :-/
  4. the cookies in FF are acting really screwing. 1. its not saving cookies for certain sites for auto logins for forums and such. 2. sites are thinking cookies are disabled yet they arn't and they arn't blocked either. What the heck is going on?

No. If you consider selecting a package and clicking 'Apply' to be hard, then you should just go back to a paper and pencil. Like very other platform--GNU/Linux is just better than most. I didn't need luck, I needed 5 minutes checking an HCL. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 2. i so wasnt informed on this easy install of programs... where can i get this info? 4. whats HCL? Hai-Etlik, i wasn't criticizing it really, i really do like it, its pretty neat. Its just everyone said they were always having new adventures and it never got dull, guess im just missing something...

So ya... after some hassel with Linux i did get it up and running, and after playing with the command prompt wich was fun for like... 3 hours. I found that linux is even more boring than windows. 1. its the same as windows with no game support 2. installing programs is 500 times harder than it needs to be 3. some things only work half the time 4. good luck trying to find drivers that lets you use your computer to its fullest All in all it doesnt seem fun like everyone says. I read up on it, did what people said. I don't see whats so great... right now its just a nuisance that keeps booting

  15. na i dont care about how it looks, i want to do some hardware modding. I dont even care if if the handheld needs a battery pack as big as the thing. Ok heres my idea... call me crazy... but whatever. I take my SEGA game gear, open it up, and add the biggest flash drive i can find 1-2gb and there is room for 2, so i could double the space. then i can OC it and maybe give it a better sound card, maybe some wifi. And i gotmyseld a palm pc almost? Sounds cool... sounds simple to do, i know its not. But i wanna learn to do this stuff. I know im probuly thinking of something really hard, but o
  16. ok guess i will just post my non-pc hardware questions in open chat. its popular anyways. thanks
  17. Does anyone know some good sites for modding Game Gear or Game Boy Pocket? And also i think we need a hardware section for the forum, or something like that.
