Alright guys, thanks, looks like im set

What would you guys reccomend as a good registry cleaner/repairer. I know there are 1001 of them, but there has to be one or two that really stand out. While I'm at it asking... what other tools should I have to make sure my computer is nice and tidy?

Its not the fact that i need it... i already have a gig, and im proud of my system, i have put years of work into it. With no income. I just want to because I can. I even have a plain back background just because it saves like 100Kb of memory.....

Oh man.... i have to find away to make windows use less memory.... I've already done hundreds of tweaks to windows =P

Ya know how there are a bunch of differnt windows theme changers and what not. Well i've never even loooked at them, because, well.... I'm a performance whore. And do any of these make windows use less memory? I dont care about the pretty stuff, i just want more performance.

I was reinstaling windows XP and it refused to extract driver.cab, so i just skipped it. Now i know its not corrupted or anything, i've used the disk tons of times before. But i would like to extact it. My question however is where and how do i extract it?

There latest drivers have been causing problems with a lot of their old hardware. I personally stopped updating them. Mine works and thats all that matters, as long as it runs properly im fine, the drivers havn't and i doubt they will ever give me a magic 20FPS boost...

Ah yes it worked wonders for years during school. And its awsome when you sell the IP for $2 or so. And every once in a while get a new IP b/c you know people that you dont want to will get a hold of it.

My friend and i were talking about that... we were like wow, you really gotta know this? This is rediculous, we kept trying and were off by a lot, we figured that most people will bet something easy like 2k, or 300 to make it easy.

Well JDoors, here ya go! Generates random number between lower - upperbounds specified, in increments type in answer, W/O $, and if its say $2, you can type 2, or 2.0, or 2.00 Same as if the answer is $2.50, you can type 2.5, or 2.50, whatever floats your boat. Options to change lower/upper/increment. And tells you how many you got right/wrong each session. Well the folder you are looking for is hidden, i do belive, so in your file browser goto: Tools > Folder Options > (Tab) View > Show Hidden Files and Folders

Anyone have and needs/wants for a program? Something kinda small, because I like to program (in java), but I dont have the motivation to program for a few months on one project . And well im out of idea for myself, my latest project was a File Transfer program because i found AIM to be too slow So anyone have any ideas? I could use a nice learning experience.

I got grounded from my computer for a month... i fell into depression and almost killed myself....

What i do is take Windows Sound Recorder, make it record my Wav Out, then start recording and play the file. Now you have it all! Just make so you mute all other sounds.
