    Nvidia Drivers

I followed that guide, and well its installed, but i have no idea if its the latest version, i dont even know if i want to even try to get the latest ones installed. I think i need more learning time. I will do more reading there, it seems like a good place. Now if only i could mount my windows HD.... but no it says it cant find it, lol. Probuly because its on a differnt HD huh? Well this has so far been a fun day for me and i sure have learned a lot. I've only broken the OS 3 time so far and managed to fix it all by myself

  15. Latest update: just for giggles i plugged back my old video card, and the monitor, started it up. Bam it worked. But im runing dual monitors, it seems when i plug in the second, they both go out? Weird.... After a few unpluggins, repluggins, and reboots its all fixed. Now time to install linux. WOOT!
  16. Ok ok, im back, (girlfriend called me ) So the first thing i took out... the video card. Good news, while plugged into onboard video, it works! bad news. My video card better not be dead or im gonna have to rob bestbuy before i die due to lack of entertainment.....
  17. Yup i've tried another one. It still wont go on.
  18. Ok, i got home today after being away for a few days, when i left my computer it was perfectly fine. So i got home, turned it on. Got the boot beep, and everything fired up just fine, the cpu started, all the fans, the HD is going. And i waited for the video to display on the monitor.... nothing... So i figure the cable came loose some how. I adjust it... nothing. So i try to plug it into the onboard video, maybe somehow it siwtched. Nothing... The video card seems to be working fine, nothing is melted, fan still goes. Im totally clueless on what is wrong. Anyone have some ideas?
  19. or small websites and small forums. It just conserves bandwith, thats all. It easily shrinks the 30kb files to a few kbs. Very useful for people on dialup.
  20. Tommorow i will be home on my main PC and i will hook you up with links on how to build your computer, and also on hardware to buy.
  21. Building one is not very hard at all. As long as you have some basic skills with a screw driver, commen sense, and can read a manual you will do fine. And with $1500 you could build an amazing gaming computer.
