Why do people feel the need to end someone's life. It's pointless. Your sense of revenge or whatever is Immediately replaced by fear of being caught or the guilt of commiting the act. It also causes another soul to seek revenge thus causing an endless chain of violence and hatred. Human nature is weird. Killing another is just pointless. I wish this crap would end. an anti glare screen on a CRT should help. I'm 17 and have glasses and after say 7-8 hours I might start having problems. I've also heard that with glasses eyestrain is worse, I THINK, I'm not sure on that one. Personnally i don't like LCD, and they too can cause strain I'd think cause it's like staring at a light ( cause of the back light). OK as some of ya'll know I've been having trouble recovering this install on my previous system. Well I have a New computer in my Bedroom. I know Linux is a little better about moving systems than windows. I've done once. It ran with no objections, BUT that's cause i still had a boot loader to boot it cause I moved BOTH drives (I eventually reinstalled windows though so I also reinstalled that FC4 install but cause I had practically nothing on it). Well this time around I have a completly new system moving only the Linux drive. How do I get a bootloader on this new system with out reinstalling

ohhh that's too bad the Elite keyboard is about the best thing that Logitech ever made. I wonder if they stopped makin them. I think they did that sucks.

Can't beat a Logitech Elite Keyboard (If you can find one). An MX510 or 518 mouse is great to go with it. I should know i have all three I want that new G15 Keyboard but it is about 60 bucks or more. I did want a G5 mouse but found out people still liked the MX518 more so I got it.

the last cheap sound card i had just to get by didn't work very well. I'd get something from Creative. SOmetimes the extra money is worth it. Their cheap ones ain't a whole lot more than that one. Creative Soundblaster 16

I bought the Counter-Strike Anthology and then yesterday I bought my Girlfriend's PC. $100 got me an Athlon XP 2600+ with 512MB PC2100, 80GB HDD, DVD-ROM, CD-RW, 17 Inch Flat Screen CRT, speakers, keyboard, mouse (don't use cause I have a Logitech MX510 to use) Integrated audio and video which I immediately replaced with a GeForce 2 MX400 and a Soundblaster Live! 5.1. Only prob I see is.......it's a Compaq and the VIA chipset is a KM266 thus I can't fully utilize 333mhz fsb and pc2700 ram. Good deal for $100 though.

do you have AGP or PCI-X? if you need PCI then i say go with that 5500, that is if it werein stock.

Sweet. Wanna see my old Athlon XP system. That blue LED HSF on the CPU is gone. 80mm and Couldn't keep my CPU under 60 degrees celsius. put in a 60x80mm Heatsink with 60mm fan that keeps it at an Ice cold 48-50 degrees at idle and never going much higher under load.

My OEM MGE has never given me any probs. Readings on power are always where they should be. I have never really liked Ultra. MGE does suck though cause the front USB ports broke almost immediatly, just ask rjmiller15. hers did the same thing.

I have those speakers, they ain't bad but I do kinda miss my Z-640's. X-530's have simplified use but i think my Z-640's had better bass. I wish they didn't die. They don't sell them anywhere anymore. The card is Creative. Can't go wrong with them. That new stup will be LOADS better. IEatHardDrives is right. A card will boost performance. When I played BF1942 on integrated, every explosion there was slowdown, with a card it played fine.

Man I'd love to see someone walk into a repair shop with a Linux problem. (Probably me I acutally asked about it one time at the CCC). Usually folks that use Linux will either know how to fix it themselves or get on a forum for help. At the computer shop I hang out (CCC) I think I know more about linux than the guy that runs the place and the intern is a genius in open source OS's. I wish you were where I am. You'd hire me right? you need to go into your Program Files and erase evry trace of the game. I had to do that for BF2 when one patch no longer alowed you to play the game with the video files removed.

I wish my local compuet repair shops (one of them is also a parts supply shop too) would hire me. Congrats on your job. Have fun reinstalling Windows and telling idiots how to fix their internet.

OK prob the Sidewinder refuses to create a network. Moo (the gateway) will create one no probs. But even though I have created it the Sidewinder won't add it. I've gone through the network setup thing like 5 times on the sidewinder but it it doesn't show anything in my network places. When I created the thing on Moo it would show the network in network places on it.

actually all our TV's at school recieve interfrence every time a call or text message goes through. that's how a bunch of people have had their phones taken up and gotten staurday schools. I think any of my multiple sets of speakers would recieve this interference but these speakers are 5 years old but they are good for 2.0 speakers. They're Boston Acoustics. But still this particular cell phone has been known to cause more interference wit things than our other phones. Don't know why it just does. I bought it used for 10 bucks but ithad MP3 ringtones and a camera, my other had a colr screen a
