If I were you I'd get a mobo without onboard video and get a cheap video card. That'll make a huge performance difference. Even the cheapest video card makes a world of difference compared to onboard. It gives the RAM and CPU power back to the rest of the system. a sound card makes a little difference too.

Well i'm searching for an external enclosure for doing repairs, virus scanning HDD's form systems to be repaired, and for having extra storage. Well I can't decide which to get, and I'd like to kow what hot swapping means exactly. I have an idea but I want to confirm it. Basically I want to be able to do this. The guy at the local repair shop has one ( he sells them but I ain't spendin 70 bucks on one) that he keeps hooked to this one computer but always has it open. WRONG! I started with 512 MB PQI Power PC3200 in mine and bought another stick a coupla months later. I was lucky cause it was Identical to the first. I put the 2nd stick in the proper position for dual channel mode and booted it up. The little bios messages were running by then BAM the system said Dual Channel Enabled. As long as the sticks are the same and are placed in the mobo correctly dual channel can still be enabled even on cheap memory like mine.

Our Hondas and Toyotas have never had that prob. Our PT Cruiser hasn't had that happen either but it is still a heap. Yeah having little ring break must suck. I change my own oil and make sure to change that ring on te filter everytime i do. Some oil change places don't bother to change it.
