    Howdy

Good to hear from you my friend..... Glad your still showing up, even if it is just once in a while. But I hope it's more often.
  4. It all depends if you can find another motherboard. What does it have for hardware? Is the hardware newer stuff? How is the case, fans, cards? Can you salvage anything for spare parts.
  5. Congrats!!! Send that man a penny.......Ah.... I mean.... A genuine portrait of Lincoln engraved in copper.

  8. I'm Sorry, But I tried to Google for the program and don't seem to find it. Where did you find/download the program from? It might be a spyware/melware program if it keeps redirecting and refuses to be uninstalled. You might wish to post this info here. Malware-Removal-HijackThis-Logs and follow this info. How-To-Post-A-Hijackthis-Log
  9. What safety feature are you trying to remove? What Operating system are you using XP, Vista etc. Some safety features are integrated into IE. They really can not be removed, but can have the settings changed.
  10. Would that be what you would call a hot deal? Sorry for the pun.
  11. Do you get any flickering from the Hard Drive LED light? does it even flicker at all? Or does it stay on constantly? A bad stick of RAM could be causing the same problem to your display. And won't even post or beep.
  12. I heard it tasted just like chicken. LOL. Good one!

    Grandpa

AN OLD MAN WAS GROCERY SHOPPING WITH HIS GRANDSON. THE TODDLER WAS CRYING AND AT TIMES SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS. AS THE OLD GENTLEMAN WALKED UP AND DOWN THE AISLES, PEOPLE COULD HEAR HIM SPEAKING IN A SOFT VOICE... "WE ARE ALMOST DONE, ALBERT...TRY NOT TO CRY, ALBERT... LIFE WILL GET BETTER, ALBERT..." AS HE APPROCHED THE CHECKOUT STAND, HE CAREFULLY BRUSHED THE TODDLER'S TEARS FROM HIS EYES AND SAID AGAIN, "TRY NOT TO CRY, ALBERT...WE WILL BE HOME SOON, ALBERT..." AS HE WAS PAYING THE CASHIER, THE TODDLER CONTINUED TO CRY AS A YOUNG WOMAN IN LINE BEHIND HIM SAID, "SIR, I THINK IT

  16. From 9 AM till Noon one of our tv channels have judge shows on (like Judge Judy). Anymore, half of them are about EBay fraud or cell phones. (getting a friend or family member a phone and they don't pay) One person sold pictures of a cell phone for $200.00 on EBay. Not the actual phone, just the pictures. They said they never said anything about a real phone in the ad. They were just selling the picture of it. (of course they never said it was a picture either). The courts didn't think it was to funny.
  17. Sounds like that is the problem then. HD must really take the power. Now I'll keep that one in mind.
  18. I think the setup your putting together should be more then fine for just watching videos. The Athlon XP 2000 should be more then fine for that. A sound card might help if the onboard is giving you problems. Try defragging just the video file once. See if that helps. Try adjusting the settings for the GeForce 6600GT. (download the latest drivers for it). Maybe it just needs to be tweaked some.
  19. ROFL..... Well thanks I'm one of those poor technicians that always gets the pleasure of handling them jobs. I even get called at home to come in and set things straight. One of the things I like about being the tech/manager. For me, the customer isn't always right and I get the pleasure of telling them so. (sometimes you just know they feel 6 inches tall when you're done explaining). But the pay tables are getting harder and harder to figure out. Anymore, I have to set them up and play them for a couple of days in the tech room just to get the pay tables down just for those reasons. And y
