I've re-updated the tutorial, trying to answer some of the questions, that I have been asked. I want to try and figure this out, so it will work for everybody, so the more input I can get from everybody, the more comprehensive it'll be. All suggestions welcomed.

lamuskrat, I tried DeepBurner to, didn't work either. (One of the headaches, I encountered.) What I ended up doing was highliting the files, then on the left, I choose "Copy this folder", and sent it to my burner, and let Windows deal with it. That's the only way I could get it to work.

After re-reading my post, and getting a couple of questions, I have, edited, and added more information. Sorry, for any inconvenience, that this may have caused.

Try pounding constantly on whatever key takes you to the BIOS from the moment you hit the power switch. Might take a few tries, but you should get in eventually. (Assuming you can get into the BIOS on your machine. Nothing surprises me anymore.) Thanks!

I found this article on how to do this. With what little bit of information it gave me, and a LOT of trial and error, I finally figured it out. I know I burned, and erased, that CD a dozen times. So I decided to write this little tutorial, in plain English, in case anybody else wanted to try it. Hopefully this will alleviate some of the problems I had. I thought this would be handy to have, in case you had to work on somebody's computer, where the browser has crashed (IE, maybe?). They don't even have to have Firefox installed, for it to work. With this disk, it's just like you have the same F

Have you tried "System Startup" in Spybot S&D? Open Spybot / Tools / System Startup You click on any startup entry, then the double arrows on the right of the window. This will give you additional info on the entry.

On another board I belong to, the Admin asked if anyone would be willing to contribute their graphic skills, by making some banners for his site, that friends have offered to put on their sites. The members would then post their attempts, and get suggestions from the other members. Some, nice banners, came out of that little experiment. I thought this was a pretty good idea. The members got to show off their graphics skills, and the Admin got some banners, that could be used on websites, to link to the board. Many of the members then put them up on their personal sites. A good way to advertis

I've been using that extension since Firebird 0.7, if I remember right. It's also the only extension I have. I use it several times a day. That's how I check for MS updates. IE is my default browser, but the only time I use it, is when I right click in Firefox, and select "View This Page In IE". A must have extension. Great suggestion, MistaMatt90.

I, also believe, that's the only way to do it. Might be wrong, though.

Dig Deep! LOL I think it's, more or less, just mama natures cycle. Sometimes there are several storms a year, sometimes hardly any. Might be something to the global warming thing, too. In the past couple of yrs., I doubt we've had 10 days where the temp reached, or droped below, 32. We haven't even had any 100 degree days, this year. Very unusual.

How do you do this? When I boot up, I don't even see a boot screen, it happens so fast.

Silly question. Do you have it locked?

I don't understand the question. I use copy & paste the same way. What are you wanting to copy & paste, that you can't?

Cows, It never, totally, died out. Went up through Alabama, then turned east, went off-shore, turned south (by this time it was just a low pressure area), got off the east coast of Florida, turned west, cut across Florida into the Gulf of Mexico, followed the coast about 100 miles off-shore, started strengthening yesterday (9/23), expected to hit near Galveston, Texas, and drop a lot of rain on southern LA and TX. Nah. It ain't dead yet. handplane, Looks like were in for a lot of rain today. Looks like it's already raining in your area. We'll catch it later this morning. They are predicting 5+

Neat little program. Fass Fass is a (f)orum (ass)istant, providing an enhanced, offline alternative to the post editor in forum software and an automated, template-based post generator. Features include: saving/loading drafts, post preview, 100 level undo/redo, menu and colour customisation, branding options for webmasters and much more. Originally designed for use with Invision Power Board, Fass uses standard bbcode that is compatible with most forum software.
