  1. Mac, I've been jellin' for years... love the inserts.. The best standing in concrete all day.
  2. OMG, that is real sad to hear. My prayers go out to you and all the family affected. So, it is off to prison with that sumbitc#. And "we" get to pay for his three hot's and cot. Some people don't deserve to breathe here on earth. They say the death penalty isn't a crime deterant, I say at least it gets rid of the social misfits that make our lives h#ll.
  3. Hey Mac, he's a good driver. The UK has a much more difficult road system to navagate. There are 70 differant signs there... 70! compared to our, what?, 10-12? Funny, the instructor said there were 3 other Brits tested this week. All passed just fine. Like that pic, that your mascot?
  4. Oohh man. Pay an electrictian to drop by for a consult.. Best $75 you'll ever spend. Don't you need a permit to do this install? The inspector will help you too. You also need the proper guage wire. I'm not sure why you are not running from a 220 breaker direct from your power panel, to the sub box. (disconnect) Here in Michigan, you also need a GFI circuit for any outside wiring.
  5. Too bad someplace like Greenfield Village in Dearborn didn't buy it... Would have made a nice addition to Edisons lab.
  6. Oh Mac. you oughta recruit a few of them. Turn them on to a life of a mad scientist.
  7. I say, no lawyers in Washington!! And no new laws till they get rid of all the crap ones.
  8. WeeeHaaa! My sweet Brit passed his drivers road test! (I knew he would) He's now a card carrying offcial Michigan driver. And is he a smilin'
  9. Several million for a bathroom? Jeesch! They did that here in Mich., remodeled a few and closed down several. Just why they used split cedar shingles I don't know. (not the best in our climate unless it's well maintained) Musta been some fed money they had to spend or lose. Now with all the budget cuts, I wonder how the maintenance will be done. NOT!
  10. Jeesch, if it's computer problems she knows the best of help is right here. Unless it had a total meltdown. I don't know her very well, but maybe one of you can see if she has a e-mail in her profile. Sure hope she and her family are ok.
  11. Yeah, scared the h#ll outta me. I mean, in my dreams? FGS!
  12. Here's another Junk payback. The three little words are: "Hold on, Please..." Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off (instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt. Then when you eventually hear the phone company's "beep-beep-beep" tone, you know it's time to go back and hang up your handset, which has efficiently completed its task. These three little words will help eliminate telephone soliciting. And here's another one.. I pay my bills at the shops. Power, cable, credit card.
  13. Blim, I don't load all the patches.. just the ones I need for M$ things I use. Of course all the criticals.... I think it's a conspericy to fill up HHD's with microsoftware............ a K here and a K there.
  14. rest up, you know there is always a comfey seat at the cafe. I think there is still some ice-cold, home made limeade left.
  15. You get cases? Shucks all I get is the paper holders.. Good thing to do with the prepaid envelopes..let them pay and have to dispose of it. It's not the USPS that shoves that stuff your way... It's the junk mailing spammers...Besides, it it weren't for the junk, we'd be paying a lot more for our service. Think about it, 37 cents anywhere in the US? In a just a few days? Quite a deal I'd say. Yeah, so stuff gets lost, the logistics are amazing so there is bound to be mistakes.
  16. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IE? Hahahahahahaha!
  17. Ours is still $2.30 How about some "bangin'" house tunes Mac? Take ^^^^^ that back. $2.45.9 It's not even the weekend yet.
  18. Yum, subs. I made a big batch of limeade, enjoy folks.
  19. Well, dang. Good to see you back Vile. Sounds like you have a good thing starting there. Good luck to you. You can say hi to my good friend Joanna in Jacksonville. She's a supervisor for child protective services. My sweet Brit and I will be stopping through there in the late winter. Maybe we can meet up and have lunch. Now Blim, you have all the techie family you need right here.
  20. Ahh, the fine art of channel surfing. I think I'm batting a 1000 on hitting ads. It's gotta be a conspiracy.
  21. Bah! The wealthy and powerful all think they are above the law... 3 more weeks huh? Should be 3 more years...
  22. *notes to take salt shaker out to the lake next time. Oohh, a poker game after hours? What's the stakes? I wanna play. Blim, those Chicago tourests will believe anything.. All they know is concrete, glass, and steel... Ahhh nature.
  23. FireFox is good, very good. I still run the vanilla Mozilla suite. I like the added extras like email, IRC chat client, even a composer. One click and everything is right there for me. IE? I always forget where I put it when I need to get an update. Think I should have a "garbage" folder in my start menu.
