  1. Cashews sound good but can't do those no more. I'll stick to pretzels Mark
  2. Since my computer took a hit, I'm using my wife's and something doesn't seem quite right. It seems slow, of course I'm used to mine. I tried to remove a legit promgram and add/remove won't work. I also can't add anything to favorites in Mozillia She's downloaded a few games off the net and my daughter pops in occasionally so something might have gotten in. Nothing shows up with AVG and AVG anti-spyware showed just the normal tracking cookies. Clean files with ATF. Here's my HJT log Thanks Mark Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 3:58:59 PM, on 8/12/2007 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT

  8. Good Luck. I know these are anxious times but it'll work out. The best thing that ever happened to me was losing a "secure" job. I just didn't know it at the time. It's so much better when you have a job you actually want to go to Mark

Well, I guess the worst has past. As far as they know, it's not cancerous. Unfortunately, I have a severe infection. Infections and my immune system don't get along too well. I usually end up on life support for a few weeks. Hope they caught it in time. Then I get to look forward to the whole thing again in 2 months Mark
  11. Interesting, I might try that with a unit that only has one hard drive. I've done 3 installations so far and they've all been painless without any problems, other than understanding the different terms used. Which I'm getting better at Mark

I'll tell you... I sure felt sorry for housekeeping after I was done prepping for the test. Using 2 canes and with my bum knees, I was a little slow to the bathroom. If you know what I mean Mark
  13. I agree with sethook and shanein on just making her aware of the potential risks out there. Especially when it comes to file-sharing and torrent sites. Password protecting her computer around a dorm full of people is also a must Mark
