I hope to order 1, possibly 2 LCD monitors this weekend. I've read different reviews and I'll probably stick with Samsug or Viewsonic. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the cheaper monitors out there, like Acer, HaansG, or Sceptre, that New Egg sells? I have'nt found that much feedback on them Mark

Found a thread in this forum about the same thing: "codingforums.com Did you read what M$ says? How do I rotate video that I have recorded with my digital camera in the Player? You can rotate video clips in Windows Movie Maker by doing the following: 1. Import the video clip into Windows Movie Maker. 2. Drag the imported video clip and drop it onto the timeline. 3. On the Tools menu, click Video Effects. 4. To rotate the video clip to the right, drag the Rotate 90 video effect and drop it onto the movie on the timeline. -or- To rotate the video clip to the left, drag the Rotate 270 video effec

Back when PLC controllers first came out I got one. It's loaded with specific programs. I just got to figure how to download programs to it. Sounds like a winter project Mark

I know the people over at DL.TV are really into HDTV. They have a forum up and running now. Their podcast are excellent, too. I know you'll want to pay attention to the type of cables you buy. I'm also betting you'll want a tv tuner card wit DVI-1 (or 2?) out Mark

I'm a bit confused. How long would "what" be good for? Do you mean the hardware or compatibility with future Ubuntu releases? Either way I think you should have no problems Mark

Wade Edward Cox 5lbs.10ozs 18" long According to the doctor's figures, he a month or so premature. She started labor about a week and 1/2 ago They gave her drugs to stop it and let his lungs develop more and put her on bed rest. So I had to stay with her during the day. Trust me, his lungs are just fine. The little dude's got a hell of a grip too. He's already discovered grandpa's beard Mark

Well, I don't have the 7.04 disc and I've never used Bittorrent. I've seen a lot of people have problems downloading from a torrent. Searching all the forums, there seemed to be more people recommending to do the upgrade progressively than one shot. So, that's what I just finished doing and knock on wood it seems problem-free so far Mark

I've been reading how to do this and I think I can do it, but I'm a little confused. Some people recomend a 2-step upgrade going from 6.06 to 6.1, then 6.1 to 7.04. Others just upgrade in one step. Does anyone have any thoughts on which would be better? Thanks Mark

Painting supplies from a year ago? Oh ... yeah ... when I STARTED on the second bedroom. Gotta pry all the baseboards off, prime & paint them, tear up the carpet and find something to put down in its place (without any money). Yeah, gotta do it. There, I said it ... Now I know why I don't tell my wife about this site. If she read this, she be on my butt to finish the kitchen and living room (trim, pai
