Sorry to hear about your trouble with your computer. I hope you get it up and running soon. I wish I could help you, but not that knowledgeable about the problem you are having. Still at the learning stage. Feel free to vent as much as you want. We have all been in a situation where we would like to throw our computer up againt the wall and wish it well, then we come to our senses and end up fixing it. Hopefully you will fix yours. Barb

Just a thought, but if they put your Gmail address in their address book, it might not put your mail in spam. It might recognize it as legitimate mail. Worth a try. Barb

Hi: I use MajorGeeks for just about ALL my downloads. Never had a problem. Will continue to use it. It is a very trustworthy site. It is the first site I go to if I'm looking for a particular type of software etc. Good luck Marty, hope you get your computer up and running clean. Barb

I just noticed the favicon, but can't make out what it is. My eye sight isn't the greatest either. It is so much easier to spot a familiar icon in my favorites than have to read it. Barb

I also am from TTV, and migrated to G4 because we all wanted to stay together and not lose touch. I learned a lot from them. I knew nothing until I went to TTV, read and ask questions. I was guided on what to do, and what I should have on my computer to help protect it from all sorts of things. There are some good people there, and now we have some of them here. This board here is very comfortable, friendly, fun and has a lot of talented people. I have also had trouble getting on G4 today and this evening. Barb
