$40k!!! I know people that have taught for nearly 40 years that make a little over $40K. I highly doubt big cities such as Dallas or Houston even pay $40K for first year teachers. Your looking at averages! Not first year picks. Try $24-$29K. Does that sound fair for all the time teachers put in? Now, dont tell me Im not in touch of reality when you obviously dont know what your talking about.

OK, you can use google. I hope you feel special What numbers dont give you, are reasons. THe pay was raised in those years because texas teacher's salaries were ranked so low in the nation. With a little knowledge and right components a 3500 venice will easily and safely OC 20-25%. Most likely something else will be a bottle neck. Remember, going from 80 FPS to 110 FPS on a game makes no difference. ANd lowering loading speeds of programs from 1 sec, to half a sec make no difference either. (just examples)

Yup, that's your model number. Your best bet is the 6600GT. You should be able to find one in, or slitghtly above your budget. Also, you should really consider adding more ram. Another 256MB stick should do.

Walmart and Home Depot both have "cut to size" window A/C filters. THey should be plenty big, plus they are easy to cut and position. They are with the other A/C filters. EDIT: Also, they are only a few millimeters thick.

It's not quite as bad as south park, but it's still something that no one will ever watch on my TV. It's more on the scale of The Simpson than South Park.
