An auction house and payment service that is cheaper than Ebay. Might be kinda complicated though.... Maybe a craigslist knock off that's easier to use.

^^^ Sounds like a pain, but who needs lights anyway?

New Project: Building A Router
Bubba Bob replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Thanks B. Looks exactly like what I'm looking for. -
Ok, on my quest for better VOIP quality, Im going to build my own router using spare parts and with a budget of around $50. Im going to use this as a router with QOS management, print server, firewall, and eventually a file server. The base machine is an AMD Athlon 900mhz, 512MB ram, and a 5 gig hard drive. Tonight Ill be ordering 5 PCI NICs, as well as a KVM switch. Now, I need help on a couple things. 1) What would be a good Linux distro for this? It needs to fit on a 5 gig hard drive. No fancy features needed. (Freesco is out of the question) 2) The main purpose of this home-made route

That sucks. Winstreams a no go. Too much more expensive. On the plan B

That's alright. My current ISP, Cebridge, is really dissapointing. SOme days I can hardly use the phone at all, due to the crappy internet quality. Thanks for the info

Wow, excellent deal TT. Ill have to look into their phone plans then. EDIT: Their phone service prices aren't listed on the website. I'll give them a call in the morning. I'm definitely interested.

Hey Guys, I currently have cable broadband with Vonage. I do NOT have a landline phone service. Recently, Valor Telecom was taken over by Windstream Communications. Windstream is now offering 3mbps/384kbps DSL for the same price my cable compnay is charging me for 1mbps/184kbps. I have been waiting for this to happen for a while, but now that is has Im not sure I can even get it. So, my question, can I get DSL through my phone line If I DON'T have phone service with that line? Thanks, Bubba

Have birthday Arach!

Good ones, Marty. Mostly true to. It's amazing how few people actually admit fault when telling someone else about their accident.
-
How "slight"? It's eye catching as it is. I'd keep it that way.
-
Second. 1) A littler more spacing bewteen lines makes it easier to read 2) Eliminates the big, empty space above the phone number.

Happy Birthday Mandy

I may be wrong, but don't Sonic car hops recieve (atleast) minimum wage, not server's minimum wage? Pete, how's the new location for the "1st Saturday Sale" working out? I hope to check it out next weekend. I hope it has more parking space then the old location.

That's a nice looking little hatch you got there. I agree with Carnevil. Please take that ricey, fart cannon off. What is that, 6 inches?
-
I admire anyone that can bring me food on roller skates. Im sure if I every tried I wouldn't make it out the door. I wonder if Sonic encourages their car hops to wear skates somehow? ^^ Wow, A drive in theater. Don't see those anymore.
-
Welcome back Tyme. Im glad to see you back without needing help I hope all is going well for you.

Just as the subject says, who here tips the car hop at Sonic Drive-Ins? I usually round up to the next dollar, plus a quarter or two. Maybe more if the car-hop is on skates EDIT: Also, many Sonics now give you the option to pay with debit/credit cards at your car. What do you do for that, since you can't leave a tip on the card?
