Brian just to let you know i have not had to inform anyone to turn off their Windows protection or any Antivirus for a long time ! Nor have i seen any of my Malware Removal friends ask users to turn them off unless they report back about a problem downloading a program ! So in my removal of Malware i would not ask them to turn it off !! Chuck

As of today i have cleaned over 2,300 computers of Virus and other infections ! Some were over at G4 and a bunch here at BT, some were at my home & even some by remote ! Regardless of where or how it was all free ! My thanks to Jeff (BT) for letting me do work here. Hopefully i will be around to hit 5,000 of them !! The new W-10 seems to be the least system of MS to become infected i have worked on !! JMO Chuck

Hey........... Open up Windows Defender by hitting start, typing “defender,” and then clicking “Windows Defender.” Switch to the “Tools” page on the menu, and then click the “Options” link. Hey, just playing around this morning & found a way you could do this the easy way ! 1. Open it to your Gmail account and leave it there when you close the Opera browser, .... then when you open Opera browser next time it will open to your Gmail automatically !!

When you get the Fall update for Windows Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.15) make sure to do a new system restore & check to make sure your Antivirus is turned on !! Chuck

Carol, great job ! We got rid of these 2 WebDiscover, ByteFence ! Most Registry cleaners are not worth using & they can remove things your system needs they some track your every move & sell your info !! Post the Malwarebytes' and the OTL logs when you get to them ! After we get you all clean then we will fix the problems you are having with "Accounts" !! Thanks Chuck
