Dog, i just noticed you are using an old old old Operating system !! Why haven't you updated to Windows10 ??? That may be why you are having such problems, microsoft is stopping support for these older systems like yours, that means some programs will no longer work & may shut down !! If you can get the OTL program to run & the logs posted i can clean this all up !! Chuck

You can say all the bad things about Windows10 but ever since MS came out the Malware has been reduced a lot with the protection in "Defenders" virus protection. It is free & i have used it since the start with no other virus protection. All the sites along with BestTechie has seen a major reduction in the decline of infections & the need for computers to be clean of virus. But you must remember that your computer still needs to be cleaned of the junk & missing files which clog the system to make it slower ! Chuck
