Hi hpg3, Although Microsoft has designed Internet Explorer to seamlessly display your existing favorites whenever you switch to a newer version, data loss and errors can happen during an upgrade. For that reason, you should always back up your favorites to an external storage device before upgrading IE. I hope that answers your question !! Chuck
  15. Howdy Pat, if you want to take the Dell back to it's original factory setting you can try this it has worked on others that i reset to factory specs for others who had lost their passwords !     Opera

    A new Opera 40 browser is out ! This one is really fast. It has not crashed once like the other browsers like FF or Edge. The only thing i have found wrong is that "Spell Check" does not work or i haven't found a way to get it to. Even followed their directions & still does not work so if you try it let me know if it works for you ! If you try it please let me know what you think. Thanks Chuck

  23. Hi momof3, 1. Go to Start > type "cmd" ...... when the "Command Prompt" shows up in light blue right click & select "run as Administrator". 2. When the "command prompt" shows up Type: rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and hit Enter. (Watch where the blank spaces are located) 3. Reboot computer and then you can reuse the Recycle Bin again. Chuck
