if it was formatted with partition magic then it is easy to change the amount of space. If the HD was formatted normally I think it can be changed with partition magic the only other option without partition magic is to reformat and resize the partitions. that would require you to back up anything you don't want to lose and do a clean install JD

did you try the other stick in your comp to see if it is good. Its possible that one stick is bad. If the comps are Iidentical swap the two new sticks and see what happens JD
