I do not know why, but many people do not seem to like the xD card format, thus those people tend to stay away from Olympus and Fuji. I myself don't mind, but just letting you know.... As i have said before, I extremely recommend Kodak cameras, as they are very easy to use for the not-so-tech-saavy. Here is a decent one i found on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...491929?v=glance Whatever you buy, good luck!

you could also try ChatZilla, an extension for FireFox...works great, and pretty easy to use!

What sort of modding are you planning on/wanting to do? Cosmetic, software, what sort of things? External, case modding doesn't take much outside help, just an imagination and the skills to realize it .

Well, basic electronics can be pick up--just take a broken VCR or CD player and you'll learn loads. To get to the really complicated things, though, i'd suggest you go to a local community college and take an electronics course--I took one (one class, the whole course after that was cancelled) and I loved it. Interesting stuff. Also, while looking on the internet, here is an excellent guide to fixing household electronics--and awesome way to learn unoffical electronics. http://repairfaq.ece.drexel.edu/sam/sammenu.htm

Well, a lot of companies offer free hosting (decent hosting at that), but you need to get your own domain. Or, you could get hosting that includes domains, but either way you'll end up spending money.... Its quite difficult to find free hosting that gives you a domain, but good luck!

Kinda dark--I think the blue weighs it down. Other than that, it looks nice and simple. Great job!

dslreports.com have a whole database--just enter your area code and first 3 digits of your phone number or your zip code, and it'll have a huge list...

I googled it, found that your motherboard takes 184-pin RAM. Usually RAM is 184-pin, but some other motherboards use different ones, I think some use somewhere around 200 pins, i don't have it on the top of my head. I can't find the RAM you were talking about on tigerdirect, but here is what you should be looking for (specs that are better than your current RAM): Higher memory (obviously ) and higher clock speeds. Right now you have DDR 333MHZ, PC2700. Try looking around for some PC3200 (DDR 400MHZ), or higher if your motherboard supports it. Though, if you don't have any need to upgrade to t

What sort of games are you looking to play on Linux? Some play natively, like UT2004, so no external program is required .

Bittorrent, How Do I Seed?
murtu52 replied to Brian_Holiday's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I like this program called BitComet, it easily lets you make torrents out of files on your computer, and just distribute that to whoever you would like--or you could re-download it the file and let that seed, your choice. Here's a link for BitComet: http://www.bitcomet.com/ -
That is what I called organized chaos....maybe without the organization...

Searching For A Wireless Network Card
murtu52 replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I have heard linksys cards aren't as good as they claim to be--though I have one and I'm satisfied with it. Netgear and D-link come to mind as well, but don't be limited to just well known companies; there are other smaller companies that use the same chipset in their cards as linksys and the others use, so the smaller companies COULD be an option... I'm not sure if the iMac needs to be hooked up wired, I used to think that only airport could do that but i'm beginning to doubt my knowledge now... -
Its on my website now....or soon enough! I also gave it to my friend, he'll ask all webmasters he knows to pass the word along....hope you don't mind if I used your text, parrot...

Note: It's PC Support, not just Windows. It includes hardware, software, networking and Windows. As for the other suggestion. It's a good idea, and I will take it into consideration. B <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hehe, I meant the questions should be seperated....i guess i'm just a clean kind of guy....I wish . Thanks for considering Blim's suggestion, though, I'm sure it'll be awesome .

I second that, and I also amend it: We should bring back the Hardware forum (I hardware-related questions should be seperated from the Windows questions) and add a Digital Photography section to it...or in some way connect the two. Good thinking Blim, i wouldn't have ever thought of making one, but I'd love to talk about them if there was a board.... :D .

Oh, thanks, I never saw that one. I'll get started right away .

I've heard many things about the Raptors, good things about them. They are very fast, significantly faster than 7200RPM, but are limited to only 74GB and have quite a price tag. My thoughts are to get it if you have the money; if you don't you can still settle for a large 7200RPM HD and still get quality.

Oh, well, lately i have had very little time to mess around with blender, but all in all I am greatly satisfied with it. I have even completed a few tutorials and make a person, I even incorporated a completed head I made a little while ago...if I can find the file I'll upload it .
