I'll stick with the nasty lake effect over the heat in the South any day.

This new job has me running all over the county, but I only went through a full tank in two weeks. $105 to fill up ($3.29/gal., 87 octane). I getting over 560 miles on a tank.

We've been getting our normal lake effect. Over a foot fell just north of me. We have a Winter Storm Watch flashing on the TV screen. The winds are supposed to hit 35+ m.p.h. After heading for work today I decided it was time to throw 300 lbs. of sand bags in back of the trucks. The back of the GMC wanted to swap ends on the black ice.

My mother bought a baby book for when I was born. She recorded every bit of information such as first visitor, first this and that plus the time if my birth. I found it in her personal effects after she died.

Local Area Connection Drops At Least Once A Day
TheTerrorist_75 replied to baker7's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Mike: I recently (march 07) replaced my older modem because they thought it was defective, and they sent me a new Westell. I went into Control Panel>Network Connections>Local Area Connections and under Power Management it says [Checkbox] Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power Checked [Checkbox] Allow this device to bring this computer out of standby Checked [Checkbox] Only allow management stations to bring this device out of standby NOT Checked Shall I simply uncheck both then restart the machine to eliminate the problem? The Westell has NEVER done this on Emmanuel, -
I got to agree. A truck is designed to get down and dirty. The only time mine gets washed is when it rains and in the spring when the salt trucks are put away.

Nice job. Looks like I'll need to travel south to find a decent '92 GMC truck body.

This section of the forums is for HijackThis logs and the removal of malware. Your question is more suited to PC Support. I shall move it there so you may receive help. -
Viruses And Restarting Pc
TheTerrorist_75 replied to deaf_girl's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Make sure you have removed any malware programs such as Hotbar from Add/Remove programs plus any leftover files/folders. You should probably post a HJT log to make sure all is cleaned out. -
Viruses And Restarting Pc

They would only be reactivated if you use System Restore. You should clean out all of the restore points by shutting System Restore down then rebooting. Restart System Restore once it has been cleaned. -
The one quoted above. I'm Don Van Wie. Vista should not contain MSJVM due to the Sun Java lawsuit. MS quit including it after WinXP SP1. Anyone who has it installed in Vista would need to download and install it. There are still some companies that require it's use with their servers. Kind of foolish that they do.

They removed my reply. The truth must hurt.

I just had to go into the bar and tell the tarbender to put up a sign for free drinks. Darn place was dead.

I sometimes wonder about LockerGnome contributors advice. Actually I can't believe I still get the newsletter.

Am I nuts with my following thought? http://www.lockergnome.com/windows/2007/11...va-vm-in-vista/

Many people have reported this behavior. I assume this is a security feature in OE that was instituted after the install of an update. As with any attachment through email you should always save the file, check with anti-virus and then when found safe open it. Powerpoint presentations can contain malware.

Only if I get to misbehave also.

Thank you. Does this mean I can grab Jeff's remote for the LCD to change the channel once in a while?

I never have really enjoyed eating out until I visited the Dinosaur Bar-B-Q in Syracuse to listen to a couple of blues bands I like. I immediately fell in love with the food and atmosphere. I have yet to sample all of their menu to determine what my favorite would be. It's all good so far.

So, How Many Ghouls, Ghosts And Goblins Visited Tonight?
TheTerrorist_75 replied to JDoors's topic in Open Chat
I could hear hordes of them go by, but none knocked on my door. I wonder if it was the big red sign stating Beware of Dog? -
