Disturbed - Perfect Insanity

Probably gonna spend most of my day listening to Disturbed and Shinedown again. I bought some new CD's Sunday while I was Best Buy. Right now: Shinedown - Devour Shinedown - Sin With a Grin Shinedown - Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide PS, this is why I like the The Light Before We Land.
-
Is this supposed to be a replacement for the What Are You Listening To Right Now thread? BTW, why was that locked? Anyway: The Delgados - The Light Before We Land if you look up trivia on the song, you might discover why I like it. Before that though I was listening to various songs from Disturbed, Shinedown, and The Offspring.

I've had 2 Epson printers and HATED them both. I've since had 2 HP's and a Lexmark. First HP was a Photo one. It was OK but my god ink was expensive for it. Lexmark I got cause it was cheap. Did the job, ran out of ink, parents bought more, ran out of ink again when I needed it. To hell with buying ink, bought a slightly higher up model HP this time instead of bottom of the line ultra cheapo. I love it. Prints like a champ is the quickest printer I've owned. Looks cool too.

Man forgot about the desktop thread here (I post in the ones on TennSpeed.net, EK9.org, and Honda-Tech.com). Here's what I had on the desktop for a while and what my lappy has now but I was kinda gettin tired of Soul Eater backgrounds so I switched to this one on the desktop but it's not sittin with me as well as I thought it would so it's probably gonna be gone soon.

I like it. Nice to see something different. I like the gray

NEITHER!!!! I'd expect the transmission (or at least my differential) to explode if I drag raced and my suspension to snap if I Auto-X'd. I'd prefer Auto-X sort of. My personal preference is road course Time Attack which I SO wanted to do at Nashville Super Speedway during IA. I just didn't trust my car with a completely stock suspension minus H&R OE Sport Springs, bad synchros in 3rd and 4th, bad diferential, and tires that could use replacing. My motor is strong as hell according to everyone I talked to about it, just everything else is messed up.

The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright and since I'm bout to go to bed I have a playlist on the laptop lined up with some of my more relaxing anime songs.

Shoot, there was a fair amount of OLD Hondas, Toyotas, Datsun/Nissans, BMW's and VW's rollin around at Import Alliance this year. One of the cars sittin at the Dyno was an old 240Z or 260Z (not sure which) with a V8 in it. I see the same 260Z passing by my work everyday. There's also an old first or second gen Civic and an early model Accord driving around town too. I see more old imports in a day than domestics.

Must resist.... urge.... to bash.... Ford..... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! IT'S FORD!!! What'dya expect? I kid, rust is big issue with a lot of older cars like that with any make.

drove past a station today that had Premium for $4.11 so gas is goin down. I forgot to reset my dern tripodometer every time I filled up this weekend at Import Alliance so I won't be too sure on my mileage. I think last time I only drove about 5-10 miles without resetting it.

The Weather Report (a little late) for Import Alliance 2008 at Nashville Super Speedway Early in the day on the first day (Saturday July 26th). The Columbia/Spring Hill caravan started off with a temp of 78, cloudy and on the way we came across a few scattered sprinkles. Upon arriving and 45 minutes later finally getting in a getting parked, still cloudy and wet and relatively mild temps. The day progresses, the sun comes out, the track and infield where we were all parked dry up. Folks it's Middle Tennesse in summer at midday. IT WAS HOTTER THAN HADES!!!! Throw in the humidity from the rain a

Good for them. But the whole birds thing, if they can't figure out how to get around a windmill then let natural selection take place I kid, I kid. My town runs on Hydroelectricity by the way.

pic that another member of TennSpeed took of my car I'm sure there'll be more soon. I know quite a few folks took pictures of my car amazingly enough. It's like my car was so ghetto that it is was totally awesome and got quite a bit of attention. Today, I had various large groups of people looking at my car all at once when I had the hood popped, many of which were taking pictures. Even when it was closed, I had some random people walk up and take pics even with nicer cars around it. I was amazed with my car this year at IA. I had such an awesome time both days. I get to dyno the first and pa

a friend of mine did some approx math taking into account the error margin of the Dyno and the power lost getting to the wheels. I have somewhere around 175HP at the crank. The stock rating at the crank is 160HP. This engine has had a rebuild sometime in it's life with a performance valvetrain or cams or something.

I didn't see them. They might be on the charts when I get them. I only saw HP on when it was on the Dyno. I'd be lucky to break 100WTQ though. It's got to have at least 110 at the crank though. Factory crank torque should be 111 minus age plus mods. My intake and exhaust are both more oriented to low and mid-range torque than high end HP though. I have a Short Ram intake instead of a Cold Air Intake and the A'PEXi WSII muffler is an oval canister designed to be a little quiter and provide more torque for daily driving than the circular canisters like my old one. Lemme say this though, the WSII

Today was the first day of Import Alliance 2008 at Nashville Super Speedway. Carma Performance was out there with their Dyno Dynamics mobile dyno. I thought "what the hell, I brought money to spend". When I went, not many people and no line. When I got my car on the dyno, suddenly there were a few cars in line and a TON of people around it. They prepped my car, asked some questions, gave me forms to sign and got to it. The Motor: B16A2 from a 99 EM1 Civic Si 10X,XXX miles on the 9 year old motor STOCK Internals AEM Short Ram intake with a filter that's never been cleaned (about a year and a ha

I've got most of it done. I'm gonna vacuum and clean the crap out of the interior an call it a day. I'm overheating and feelin kinda sick at the moment so I'm gonna cool off, eat and finish up later. I even cleaned the inside of the muffler tip so it isn't all black (looks like I use a higher grade racing fuel , well for now). Man I'm so glad I don't have to do this very often though I should do some of it a little more often so it doesn't wind up being one huge ordeal later down the road like today.

Gonna prep the car today for Import Alliance. Just got a new battery today (old one was nasty and corroded), gonna wash it, clean the inside, vacuum, Armor All the dash, clean and shine the tires, redo the lip (rear is a little low), pop off all the center caps on the wheels (one is missing), try to clean up the engine bay, and maybe some other crap. Problem is, it's trying to rain right now so it's screwing up my whole plan. I won't have time tomorrow, cause I'm leaving the house at 6:00 in the morning.

Actually since my car is OBD2 it will fail automatically for having a CEL. OBD0, and OBD1 cars only have to pass a sniffer test in the exhaust (which I might even fail that) but if your car is OBD2 (pretty much anything 96+ and some 95 which I have a 99 motor and ECU in a 96 car) it has to pass both a diagnostic and sniffer test. My car would fail automatically for throwing a code 91 CEL.

Possible Failing Hard Drive?
Honda_Boy replied to Honda_Boy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
SpeedFan says all is okay as did a WD test program. I just formatted it and moved all my stuff to it a few weeks ago. I think what I'm gonna do is just eventually get me a new secondary (or a new main and make the 250GB the secondary) and throw the 320GB in my old PC and get it going again, let my parents use it, and see how long the drive lasts (I gotta good 80GB back up drive for it). -
I have no idea why here they changed. Where I live, there isn't even emissions testing because the population isn't large enough (which is good cause I kinda doubt my car can pass).

Happy bday dude!!!!!! Hope ya have a fun one
