  1. Its a dell dimension 8200 I think its a hard drive problem about a month ago the CD/DVD drive craped out then the cd burner then floppy drive now the HD is screwing up it might be a mobo problem.
  2. My Dell will not startup it shows the dell startup screen then stops and makes this high pitch buzzing noise

  5. Same here and nortons firewall is crap my internet was d/c'ed and my norton said it block 4 attacks lol.
  6. Thats odd firefox uses less memory than IE for me.
  7. You could also go with a dual core chip like AMD X2 or Pentium D.
  8. HP always puts a crap load of junk on there computers, and it slows the whole system down.

  10. AOL=Spyware you cant get rid of it I had aol on my dell uninstalled the program imbeds its self i've deleted the aol folder, and reg key every week
  11. $300 to upgrade a PIII to 1.8Ghz no you can get a P4 3.4Ghz for $275.

  14. Sry I did the jotti scan and it said it was clean so I searched about MSSWCHX.EXE and found info about it and deleted it.
  15. msswchx.exe is a adaware program so is osk would it be safe to delete them?
  16. C:\WINDOWS\system32\MSSWCHX.EXE, and C:\WINDOWS\system32\osk.exe are clean.

  18. Try turning everything on at msconfig startup menu have you installed any new drivers,hardware, or programs?
