If it ain't broke.............. As long as your old router doesn't have any limiting factors/features that can be had by switching to the Linksys, stay with what's been keeping you happy. Now if you want a new toy to play with, well, that's just a whole new ball game.

GET THIS OUT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO USES QUARTERS!!!! Hang on to any of the new Kentucky Quarters. If you have them, they may be worth much more than 25 cents. The US Mint announced today that it is recalling all of the Kentucky quarters that are part of its program featuring quarters from each state. This action is being taken after numerous reports that the new quarters will not work in parking meters, toll booths, vending machines, pay phones or any other coin operated devices. The problem lies in the unique design of the quarter, which was designed by a team of Kentucky engineers. Ap

Sometimes it's just better to keep your bugger hooks in your pockets and off the keyboard. Could a certain someone have been practicing for a career as Forum Master at G4?

Those poor children. I can't believe that the paint manufacturer would be allowed to market a product with lids that were not child proof. The kids never stood a chance and will probably be scared for life after this humiliating experience. I only hope that proper legal representation can be found to hold the manufacturer accountable for their obvious flawed container. The same for the maker of the upstairs sofa. How can a manufacturer market a product with such construction and material that would put the life of a poor puppy at risk. Think what could have happened if the sofa had been

Need Help Chosing Some Memory
sethook replied to StealthG's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I would suggest that you use the same speed memory as you presently have. Although the memory is backward compatible, there is really no need to buy the faster memory. Dual channel is a function on the motherboard and not the memory. To utilize the function you will need to use 2 identical memory sticks in the 2 slots. Using 1 stick will be OK until you spring for the second stick. Rumor has it that dual channel only gives a 4% to 8% increase in performance, so not a real big deal. -
I threw a HDD in one of these NAS devices to use for storage, auto backups, and file sharing on my network.

are you a business owner? I worked for Xerox for 32 years, retired and then opened up a service business with 20 employees to do work for them. About 4 years ago Xerox bought out my business and I retired again. My wife still works and is a Regional Service Manager for Sun Microsystems here in the LA area. Good for you :-) Maybe someday I will have 20 employees(more headaches) 20 employees can be a big headache but you have to remember that they are there because of the revenus stream that you have that requires that many. And, you get to a point where the profits far outway the perso
