I think Dragon illustrate the issue vey well...and i've found that the key is staying away from any vendors' "suite" program...these integrated overreaching programs can make your computer life miserable... that said..i have had no problems whatsoever with McAfee Virus Scan as a standalone...it's saved my butt a number of times...and i feel the yearly $30.00 subscribtion fee is money well spent... when there are the ever evolving nasties attacking us from every which way,,,my VS has updated itself as many as 4 times in a single day...

Army got it's butt kicked by Navy... USC wipes UCLA my daughters B-ball team loses 28-27...ouch extra twist in my tall soda please...
