I reinstalled it, now it is working. I agree fully about using another product. My client just paid to renew it, so part of me wants to do what they think is best, even if I know otherwise.

I may have agreed to it and just don't remember. Thanks.

I did a reload on a system with norton 2006 internet security. Now I need to configure norton. i closed the eula page without agreeing to it. Now I keep getting warnings about not being able to do anything because I have not "agreed" to the eula. I can't find any way to agree since closing the original eula screen. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I wonder why a big company like spysweeper is not able to do as good of a job as they do with smitfraudfix. You think a large company could spend the money to pay peolple to research it full time.

Something must have been conflicting with panda and causing it to use such high amounts of memory. Panda would be laughed out of the business if their product was designed to use such a large amount of memory.

Do you guys know how smitfraudfix works? Does it just have a built in group of files, clsids, or reg entries it looks for. Or does it have an algorithm that can determines if a file is bad? I have noticed spysweeper fully updated will not get a lot of smitfraud infections but smitfraudfix does. You would think such a common infection would be able to be removed with spysweeper.

I got a call from somebody who has not used their computer with the internet for about one year. It was an XP computer with 128mb of memory. It was running so slow, no web pages could be loaded, they were timing out. The first thing I did was to add 256mb of memory. I rebooted and soon the computer was up to 335mb of memory usage with no programs running. I was trying to figure out what was using so much memory. According to msconfig and HJT their was not much of anything running at startup. One microsoft process system32\services.exe was using large amounts of memory and cpu cycles. I also no

Windows Mobile Video Conversion
shanenin replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I would set a restore point then install the standard k-lite codec pack. I am pretty certain it contains the codec to play quicktime videos. On occasion codecs can cause conflicts, so that is why I recommended setting a restore point. if it should casue a problem, you can roll back your system. -

I think that is a quicktime format. Do you have itunes or quicktime installed? I also think you could install a codec pack like klite, then play it in media player. -

From my google search, f10 seems to be the key to use.

I think I have also used ESC in the past. I vaguely remember using the combination of ALT with another key. Just google the "model" along with "enter bios setup" you should get a good suggestion.

I actually look very young for my age, 34. I don't think you have ever seen a picture of me. For all you know, I look grey wrinkly and bald :-) I do have a few grey hairs(since my young 20s), and I am starting to loose me hair, but still look young.
