  4. Pat, just think, if everyone would step up to the plate and do their best, what a great world we'd be living in? I am so tired of the gimmi, you owe me, hand out, way people have become. And it shows up everywhere. Selfish drivers, shoppers, and even work mates.
  5. Oohh man, and I complain when my 3mg goes below 2.5..
  6. Great news TT75. Best of luck. I'll have a iced tea, with lemon please. Too much to do to start this early. Besides the gators look restless in the pool. Wonder if Liz fed them today?
  7. Oh jeesch, Blim. Whatta mess. An OD after a nite hangin' out with a *ahemm "girlfriend". And your daughter.... ? Hope she's ok with it. There will probably be a lot more questions from the cops. Wondering if he had Illinois plates? heh heh... dang tourists. Being a small town, you'll hear the whole story soon.
  8. Mine left this ole house as soon as I started completing some needed repairs and decorating. The original owner/builder, his son, and then grandkid's family, were the only occupants till I bought the place. The grandson and his kids left the place a total mess. (they were renting from dad) What little up keep that was done, was a total disaster.(like painting 3 layers of wallpaper) Needless to say I bought the ole place for the right price. Until then, I felt the old gal hovering around, fretting, and watching every improvement I did. She'd creak around in the attic, and even switch lights o
  9. Yep, that Mac is a real sweetie. *BIG* hugs..... Now, please tell me how my sweet Brit can eat the fresh garden tomatoes from 4 plants faster then they can ripen?
  10. It was a small town and the patrolman was making his evening rounds. As he was checking a used car lot, he came upon two little old ladies sitting in a used car. He stopped and asked them why they were sitting there in the car. Were they trying to steal it? "Heavens no, we bought it." "Then why don't you drive it away." "We can't drive." "Then why did you buy it?" "We were told that if we bought a car here we'd get screwed .so we're just waiting.

  15. Awww, bottled niceness... sounds like a good marketing pitch.
  16. Weee! I just got my new camera. I had sent my Minolta DiMage 5 out for repairs, and they offered me a DiMage A7 for the price of the repairs in exchange, because they didn't know when they would get the needed repair part. *dances... So the up grade took me from 3.2 megapixels to 8 and many more functions including 30fps movies and audio. Whooo dang Hooo! Joe, I just spotted a 70x300 lens at our Meijers store yesterday for $159. Also try your local camera shop(s) to find a used one. Or even the classifieds in the newspaper. My hot daymn new camera
  17. Oooh man. Don't get me started on the freeloaders of this society. We had a gal at work ask to have her (less than 40) hours reduced when she got a raise so her welfare grant wouldn't go down for her 3 (different) fatherless kids. Another time I was behind this *hugemungus* lady with a grocery cart full of mostly junk food, pay with food stamps, and in the parking lot complaining that no one helped her out to the car and load it for her.
  18. Kalamazoo has a no burn policy, but they pick up the leaves for free, dump them to compost, and then let the residents carry it off for their gardens. What's left over gets added to the Community gardens that is planted for needy families by volunteers. A mulching mower is a great idea. It will make your lawn healthier. Our tax paying voters just knocked down a new county jail. It's the second time and they managed to pare off 90mil this last time. I guess $100 a year (on a 100k house) to keep crooks from early release is too much for the soccermoms. But then, our little town wanted a 20mil

Didn't you know it's pick on il Wiccan day? (everyday)
  20. You bet I can... A little town near me has won the "Best Water in Michigan" title 10 years running. They have signs up everywhere, "well protection area". And I have a great well, icy cold, odorless, crystal clear. Now if I only had an electric pump.... not sure I could hand pump enough for production. Don't worry, I'll sanitize it with some ole No.7
  21. KerSplash! Oohh nooo. Not again Liz.. North, Liz, north... *heads out to get water wings for Liz. Btw, feed the 'gators while you're in there.. There's lots of popcorn left over.
  22. Nooooo! Mac! Please not the fuel rods..
