Heh, BH.. Yes across Ohio, and no, not neighbors. And there are pleanty of folks here in SW Mich. that drive into Indiana for beer and cigarettes, because there is less tax on them. Robroy, all I can say is thank God *most* of Michigan is conservitive. Wayne county(Detroit) is our ghetto of liberals. But they can't fill our senate and house. Although they do skew our national elections with they're numbers.

Good one Marty. One thru five is a good map to a pleasant life.

Good thoughts Brian. And Bubba Bob, you hit the nail on the head.

Heh heh heh.... good one.

Well, you know, they don't tax food because it's needed. Guess what? So is fuel... in a state that has little or no public transportation.

Man, I'd like to say I'm sorry this damn war and administration has divided our nation. But that ain't so...There will always be descent between both sides. I will say I'm very thankful we have the freedom to dissagree. With Washington, our states, and each other. But this radical, soapboxing, Sheehan, is a phony. And I believe she is being manipulated by some Democratic operatives. Maybe for a political job if/when the Dems get control again. God bless the (adult) children that *volunteer* to fight for our freedom. Blim, I don't think the boys (your sons) needed a lawyer when they signed u

Good news. Bad news. Our strong and conservative Michingan legistrature has passed a bill allowing the "governor" to remove the 6% sales tax from gasoline during times of excessive prices. What does our "bleeding heart" liberal gov do? Applaudes the bill as a good one, but doesn't think it's the time to implement it. Go figure, she might have to pull in the belt of entitlement spending to offset *my* 18 cents (at $3) a gallon savings. Folks, that's about $5 a fill up in my car...... Yep, that's a "Hot and Ready" pizza from Little Caesars. (better in my working gals belly, then some food st

Heh heh, besides, someone has to keep the bed warm... Not being able to sleep when you know you need to, is a pain.

Possibly, Mac. But you know flying helicopters are a lot more fun.

God bless America, our military, and their families for the sacrifices they are making for freedom.

Bleh! It's an old 87 Plymouth Voyager, with a 85 2.6L engine. It gets 18mph in the city, and I just had brakes, exhaust, and carb done. Oh and new tires. (also struts and shocks have only 6-8,000 miles) I think it's the vaccum lines on the carb, or the fuel pump is dead. I'll get it fixed. I can't buy one with all that new stuff for what it'll cost to get running. She really runs and rides well. I just have to troubleshoot it a bit before I get her to the shop. Momma didn't raise now fool. I always try to find out whats wrong before I resort to the shop.

Set 'em up barkeep. My "other" car made itself undriveable today. And I am in a real bad mood.... Do I spend a couple hundred getting it fixed? Sell it for a couple hundred? Or shoot the ole thing? *punches K7, CCR, "lookin' out my back door"

Awwww, puppies and kittens.... I don't have much means, but I could find room for needy lil' critters. BTW, I have donated all of my motorhome's kitchen. Pots, pans, dishes, and knives, spoons, and forks... Dish towels, pot holders, etc.. A whole kitchens worth. When I dropped them off, the folks decided to add that sort of stuff to the list.

Ok, ProDriver. You think it's some thing done OEM? An alteration of the cable for Dell's needs? But why at least one bare wire showing? And if it's OEM, why did it fail? (planned obsolence?) I'm sure it wasn't damage or a bug, because it's as clean as it's been punched out. Any more input out there?

Computer acting strange? You bet. This one suddenly lost it's program file. Oppted for a refromat because there was nothing to save. Then things got even stranger. So we opened the case and replaced this cable. Now bare in mind this is a Dell 4100, running ME, and belongs to a grandma that only uses it for e-mail, some surfing, and some documents. She sure never opened the case. Either did anyone else in the house. Look what we found: Please note you can see two of the wires in that hole. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Do you think it's been that way from the factory? How can a piece lik

$500 million in relief aid from Kuwait, $100 mil. from Qatar. Anyone hear anything from Saudia Arabia?

Well, we are conserving the best we can. Planning our errands to make the most of it. No shortage here, and no scalping. Just way too high prices.

Painting huh? Sweet Brit painted all the last two weeks at a 3200 sq.ft. house my friend is building. "miles of ceilings" he said, cathedral at that. Mow the lawn? Hmm, not here. No rain for weeks, only grass that's grown is the edges around some plantings I've watered. I have some veggies to put up, the car needs cleaning, and I believe a trip to the river for the dogs to have a game of "sticks in the water" Heh heh and the Nextel race. (I hate the west coast races, Busch race started at 8:30 pm last nite)*wonders what that racing gas costs a gallon?

Bush is/was there as soon as the inept governor and mayor asked...(how long do you think it takes to mobilize thousands of troops and supplies?) Where was "their" preperation? Their emergency response? Their leadership getting folks outta there? I still see the picture of 30-40 school buses flooded and useless...........
