Break the Chain Seems this is wise advice, but some of the story didn't make sense to me, so did a search. And yes it is highly suggested to turn off your cruise control in wet/slippery weather. Thanx, Shadow

Oohh, man, Chappy. That is real scary. You're right about the lack of real punishment for these creeps. Court costs???? 6 months???? How can society keep control of these predators if all they get is a slap? I say "hang 'em high" We need to a better job of protecting our children. And punishing those who prey on them.

Bleh, I had real problems trying to use refills on my Lexmark. Or even remanufactured... Piece of junk I guess. Not to mention the carrier for the heads had such a poor design, that after about a year I couldn't keep them from jamming every 2-3 prints. (beware folks, it's the same model Dell is using now.) I like the design on the Epson. The ink carts don't have the print heads in them. And you can buy a bulk ink adapter with tanks on it for refilling. I also like the advantage of being able to replace only one of 6 different ink colors. Black always goes fast in our house. But when I'm prin

I don't know a lot about routers... (because my hubby is the geek) But when we first set up ours we had a lot of disconnects. TheBrit kept changing the "something" (Ip address?) and finally we're good to go... Only time we get an interruption is when Charter goes down/out.

Just goes to show if you have enough money you can get unscrupulous behavior legalized. Take a good look at Gator/Claria....

Yeah yeah... I know the sizes and extensions..... They are correct. So what's up? I needs to put up my Christmas one.

Heh heh. Maybe that's why I'm so "'puter stupid". Or it could be because I have more grey hair than grey matter. Set 'em up barkeep, JD and a splash of soda for me. Whatever my friend robroy needs.

I agree with that Pierce. Kids today need outlets for all the energy they pack, not drugs. I'm willing to bet, kids that have involved parents and lots of activities don't need drugs.

One big question... What's the cost of inks? We bought an Epson printer as soon as we could afford it, when I had to buy the 3rd round of Lexmark inks... By that time I dang near paid for a new printer. We still use the Lexmark as a scanner, but the Epson R200 is a great printer and ink is cheap. Ink costs are also a problem with the Dell/Lexmark printers, Free from Dell at times, but I sure deliver *tons* of $65 ink packs for them.... Many times to the same address every few months.

I remember the "free concerts" at the downtown Wayne State campus. They had some really great big name bands there.. Sponsered by a radio station. I can't remember the groups 'cause I'm sure it was all left behind with some of my brains cells..... Heh heh

You're right, Liz. Many users would go without, if not for free applications. I myself, would find it difficult to pay for all that is needed for security. Think about it folks. Not only your AV and firewall, but IEspyad, SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, GoogleToolbar, SpyBot S&D, AdAware, and the list goes on and on.... If all of these cost even 10 bucks I'd be off the net in a minute.

Hello, gamefreaks. Sorry for your wait.. Someone will help you soon. In the meantime, Have you done all that is suggested HERE? It's really a good idea to rid yourself of as much as possible before the log is started. Makes is much easier for the expert. If any malware is found and removed, please run another HJT log and post it in this thread.

It's "Melatonin" and I use it as often as I need. And have for years. Melatonin, the all natural nitecap. No morning aftereffects, inexpensive, and it really works! I started using it when I had to be at work at 5am. Getting to sleep at 7:30pm in the summer is near impossible for a "day person" So is getting up in the middle of the nite. (3:30am) So I gave it a try, and then suggested it to many friends. They also have had great results.
