  1. There's a SP3 for XP? Please do spare me the task of Googling it and give me the details
  2. Sounds like the Obama and his Muslim faith email. I got so sick of unfounded or just down right stupid forwarded email a few years ago that I wrote a reply that was automatically sent if the email had Fwd: in it. The reply wasn't pleasant and a few of my family members and friends got quite upset about it. You're good TT. THat's exactly what it was. Im not exatly a fan of Obama, but most of that email is just crap. I heard someone say today that they didn't like Obama because "he refused to put his hand on the Bible". Where'd ya hear that? "Uh, an Email I got".
  3. I got a foward the other day that started out with: "I checked this on snopes and it's all true" So, of course, I checked it on Snopes, and it was mostly bull. LOL!
  4. Hey Ed, I can't seem to log-in. I keep getting this error: 8: Undefined property: stdClass::$login File: /home/iabusin/public_html/components/com_smf/smf.php Line: 739Database Error: Table 'iabusin_FBS.smf_sessions' doesn't exist File: /home/iabusin/public_html/forums/Sources/Load.php Line: 2005
  5. Shanenin, WoW is a ram hog and less graphicly intense. And CS is pretty old isnt it? Someone correct me if Im wrong.
  6. This is what I was thinking of first, but as a gamer what would hold priority in RAM vs Graphics card? I don't play high graphics games really, just WoW and Counterstrike, so ram seems to make more sense to me. I agree with your theory. If you're interested though. I have a PCI-E Nvidia 6600GT for sale
  7. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/generic...=reg_R1002_USEN It does have PCI-E 16x Also, the max memory per slot is 1gig. So you could add up to 2 mroe gigs of ram and keep the old ram
  8. A couple more items added: 3 sticks of Crucial PC2700 ram 256Mb Ram Nvidia 6600GT PCI-Express Video Card
  9. Heh, I understand. Ill PM you my Paypal email.
  10. HAHAH! That's pretty good. Can't go wrong with Calvin & Hobbs
  11. Sorry for the slow response. $40 shipped for the HDD sounds good. I tested the PSU. It's good, if you want it.
  12. Try the tips here: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f34/windows-vista...opy-how-209415/
  13. Hey HondaBoy, give me a couple days please. PeteC replied to my other thread and said the PSU may be causing the problems. Im going to yank a PSU outta something and see if it boots this computer. I dont want to sell you something that doesn't work. Vista has been used, but Ill call M$ and straighten out the activation. EDIT: Oh, the HDD is 3gb/s
  14. AH! I didn't even know about that! Thanks a bunch! -Joe Heh. Archive all your games and download MirageOs. Mirage will let you play the games while they are archived (or, automatically archvie and unarchive I guess)
  15. HDD is Sata. About 8 months old. The PSU is Orion brand. Ive had pretty good luck with my other Orion electronics. Ive never used a "bad and small" PSU so I dont know if its "good and heavy". Hahaha. Itd probably handle w/e you through at it or (hopefully) IBuyPower wouldn't put it in their gaming rigs. Im horrible at prices, how's $200 shipped sound? It's also got Vista Ultimate Full 32bit OEM (not just a restore disc) $100 shipped. Non-Negotiable
  16. Alright Guys, now that Ive got a spare copy of Vista Ultimate, the question is, do I sell it or use it? To be honest, ive used Vista and wasn't impressed AT ALL! Just seemed like a slow, clunky XP with a horribly designed Start Menu. What are the PROs of Vista over XP?
  17. DOH! Nice ones Flash. I believe I know some people like that... just a couple
  18. Yeah, buy a TI 84. The memory in something like that is integrated with the circuit board so you're SOL
  19. That'd be good. Hahah Just an FWIW, the first time I swapped out a CPU the computer wouldn't boot again. I was sure Id killed it. Thankfully my neighboor was smarter than I. He determined it was bad ram. Bad time for a coincidence such as that. Although its not hard to do, its also very easy to screw up. I was straightening pins out on a CPU just a few weeks ago because I had gotten too complacent with what I was doing and screwed it up. Wisdom comes from knowledge, which comes from errors. Be carefull with that in which you can't afford to replace
  20. I did some research and found M$ is letting people transfer Vista (even OE versions) from one PC to another, is this correct? Ive got Vista Ultimate (OEM) on a dead box and hate to let is go to waste. Is there a way to "deactivate" it so a potential buyer would have no problems activating it?
  21. It just dies. No loop. I dont have the manual for it so Im not sure as to how to reset the bios. No biggy. Computers are so cheap now anyway. He got a new AMD 64 3600 PC w/ vista for only $350. Ill part this old one out to help make that up. Thanks Tyme. Good to see you back!
  22. Alright Im parting out an old "gaming rig" from back in the day. Quick disconnects on PCI slots/drive slots. 7 PCI slots. Audio, Mic, USB in front. 5 5.25 bays. 3 3.5in bays. Front door covering 5.25 bays with LEDs. Fan in side door with LEDs.
