any one having trouble with ad-aware ive installed it five times and it wont load to my desk top it keeps going to my sys tray and automatic scanning have they changed their format or have they gone pro and dont want us any more ive used the search options and cant find a link am i behind the times marty

have you tried the add and remove program and see if it is there then uninstall it marty

hi team i have this external hdd on which i want to install another sys this compt i use only has facialitys for one hdd so i had this external hdd enclosure given to me the sys works as a sata and usb now my problem with the usb is the sys dosent recognise the usb option to be able to use the hdd for another sys do i need to use the sata connection or the usb i hope ive explained this properly marty

today i tried to access the bartpe disk on my compt running vista and all i got was a corrupted operating sys it couldnt open any programs email- internet explorer-avast ect ok i was in a panic so i tried the restore sys and it worked my Q other than the restore what are my options to repair visa as i had to use an up grade from winxp home to vista would i have been able to repair vista with out restore if so how thanks marty -

you realise your not exclusive to getting these things tho havent had them for some time now i used to be a regular i was forever posting to techtv c.f.h to get clean so join the club marty

have you tried avast in safe mode or if you can get a copy of the bartpe cd ultimate disk and scan your sys in safe mode sometimes safe mode isolates files and d.ll files which have this malware i use it a lot the bartpe disk has hijack this scanner and spy bot scanner included good luck marty
