hi htest ime very disapointd with it i should have com to the board and asked \ as many of you have used it prior to me buying the dam thing other than speed wich dosent concern me it is a bit of a disapointment xppro is many streets ahead of the dam thing for instance where the hell do i find the add and remove programs or the sys specs just as well ihave ubuntu on the other partition because i keep reverting back to it it is just a pity ive paid money for b------t my son warned me about it some time ago but because he is a gamer i thought that is his problems it isnt very good for games

ive recently switched to vista basic and i hate it unlike xppro witch ive used for several years i cant find any thing but i paid for it so i have to put up with it ime not sure what microsoft were thinking all they did was shifted the programs around and renamed them to some fancy name they thought would attract users if i could sell this bloody disk i would but it seems ime the mug nobody in nz wants it we have an auction site called trade me and there are dozens of these discs for sale i think microsoft were worried linux was mass producing ubuntu versions so they got this on the

yes i saw this on the news it didnt affect me as my isp has a spam filter as well i set my cookies to block in 2 years ad-aware has only found the occasional tracking cookie when i open my cookies to accept ime not sure but one of the offenders ime sure i know from the past maybe it is my imagination marty

hi sultan yes bill is a member of this board and worldstart.com he and i have been emailing each other since we came from techtv he lives in florida in the county of apaloosa [not sure if this is the right name] in the city of baker buggered if i can find baker he has my city and street and house pinpointed as ime new to google earth i find it a bit daunting to navigate the site and is one of the reasons i posted to the board as i know can got answers here how to handle google earth ime going to need a lot of help thanks sultan marty

hi pete by posting that site i hope i helped some one we have a whare house chain wich sell hobby glasses but i dont recommend those type of glasses to any one whos sight is deterioating more so if you are getting on in years that site was given to me by my gp who i trust as ive been a patient of his for 25yrs hope your wife finds the right set it has taken me some time to get the right pair marty

hi all sorry i havent been back since i posted but my eye sight hasent got any better i went to the optician last week and then results were since i goty last set of glasses my eyesight has deteriated 17 percent so ime in need of a stronger pair which ive alredy ordered here we have a scheme were superanuants [old buggers] can got glasses witch are subsidise by a superfund which ive paid into over the years $22 a year until i retire the glasses in the post i sent in are no different from the ones recommended by my optician the catch is you have to get a recommendation from an optic

hi all recently ive had al sorts of trouble with my eyes to make it worse i damages my glasses which were made to order here in nz we can get recommended by our gp for new galsses and an eye examine for normal costs the problem is the cost of the glasses $600 may not be much for many but when you are retired like me i need to shop around ok my gp gave me this website to see if i can get a pair at minimule cost and to try and sort out afforable glasses and ive just got my first pair back and they are brilliant so ime posting the sight i hope this isnt spamming the board as ime sure ther

faulty ram can cause a blank screen as well as video card drivers does your screen go to dos or is it just blank also have a look at your connection pins on the graphics card connection and make sure none are bent or broken i your display shows a discolour then there is a chance it is a bent pin marty

hi steve marty here i have the same sys as you and i presume you are using a laptop battery operated ive hunted throughout the sys but cannot find the solution i haven been to the registry nor to the bios witch ime off to now if i find some thing ile be back good luck marty
