  2. ~ Mysteries... my current favorite author, in that category, is Anne Perry. Whom do you most admire ( role model, mentor etc. ) ?
  3. ~ Cape Cod... What will be your next upgrade?
  4. ~ Both gentlemen have posted at G4 today..Dec. 20 Tyme Kyller il_wiccan
  5. Thank you, JeffroTa, for providing your source of reference. ~ I may have misinterpreted your original comment to imply that he recanted his quantum theory altogether. I agree with you that he never reconciled to being unable to resolve or explain the "entanglement" phenomenon or "spooky action at a distance", (hence his reference to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle), and that's why he declared his quantum theory to be incomplete. I also agree with you, that he was frustrated over the lack of tangible "effect" evidence to examine and experiment on, so as to substantiate his "cause" premis
  6. ~ Welcome to the board, JeffroTa! I'm curious, where did you find that quote, because it seems to contradict what he says here in 1949 to his critics, when he's discussing the building blocks of matter, and how some of the apparent discrepencies were resolved using the statistical quantum theory, in spite of his belief that the statistical quantum theory was incomplete. Quote: Source: From Albert Einstein: Philosopher-Scientist (1949), from The Library of Living Philosophers Series; Published: by Cambridge University Press, 1949. Including Neils Bohr's report of conversations with Einstein
  7. ~ As it turned out, neither did I...but thank you anyway, for helping us stay updated, Sultan.
  8. ~ I appreciate the notification, Sultan... it's going on my morning "to do" list, right now.
  9. ~ How wonderful for you both!! You're about to embark on an amazing journey, that will feel more like a roller-coaster ride at times One of the wonders is seeing everything fresh again through the eyes of your child, it's beyond my ability to describe, but trust me, it's awe-inspiring. I wish both of you joy and a safe, successful journey! Suzanne
  10. ~ Nerelda...I can see why you're having a difficult time deciding, there's such a broad range of choices. My picks were #3 and #9, however, I chose #9... simply because it's beautiful. If you do choose that one, then tictock's suggestion about modifying the hue and saturation to accentuate your color scheme would be worth trying, though. ( I think, since you like them all, that you should use all of them and just rotate each of them, periodically... depending upon your mood. )
  11. ~ Today I installed the updated version of Sygate Personal Firewall. I immediately experienced problems with it. It wouldn't respond to clicking on the different settings, and when it did respond, it was slow or jerky, and it eventually just froze. I uninstalled then reinstalled it, from a different website...again, the same thing. I went to Sygate's support forum and several people had already posted similar problems with it. ( Note: I never experienced a problem with the prior version, and it was uninstalled prior to downloading the new one.) Sygate's support forum I thought everyone should
  12. ~ Hope springs eternal... Like everyone else, I'm deeply disappointed in the current version of TSS, but until I'm certain that there's no hope for improvement, I'll continue to watch occasionally, and when appropriate, post my opinions and suggestions for change. I'm still able to glean some enjoyment from reading the boards, since some of my favorite posters, (which include many of you), still post there. And Shadow, granted your insights are valid, and you may prove to be accurate in your assessment of the complete demise of the show. But it's possible, since it's the only TTV show left, (
  13. ~ Giggle...cutest one I've read today!!

~ That is soo cute!! Thank you so much for sharing it!
  15. ~ Good to see you posting, Tyme! It appears we're both moving the same week-end, so I completely sympathize with your living amidst/ knee deep in boxes! I hope the move to the bigger place proves to be more enjoyable for everyone.
  16. ~ Giggle...now that would be an episode worth reprising Star Trek for!
  17. ~ Thank you thesidekickcat, for the update on Tyme's recovery. I've been wondering about him as well, but I've been so preoccupied with packing and moving lately, that I just haven't gotten around to making inquiries. I'm glad to hear his casts are off; that has to be a relief as well as encouraging for him.
  18. ~ A thoroughly enjoyable read !! ~
