first just a few questions. is it any particular program that hangs or do all of them hang or is it several of them. when it hangs does it never bring the program fully up or does it just take forever? just had to ask since most people do know i mean. did she wipe the drive before installing.

to honest i didn't know. it's just a microchip based hard drive. you can put anything you want of it. 16 mb isn't much room though. i don't have much for a suggestion but how about your Home Work?

yeah it's probably just your screen resolution. sometimes on fresh installs it resets the screen resolution to another setting. try what murtu52 said and let us know what your screen resolution currently is. most people like it around 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768.

i wouldn't quite say smarter just yet. yesterday it spent about an hour staring at the wall and once in a while backing up and bumping into it. i figured that something was broken, so i went to pick it up and check it out, and it speed off. i either created a very dumb robot mouse or a miniature monster mouse that's plotting against me. i only added a much larger memory chip than the kit came with and changed the programing a little bit. really
