Yes, exactly! We had an employee at our company who chose to surf shall we say "less than appropriate sites" and he lost his Internet access. Sheesh. For the vast majority of us company spying is a fact of life that we've come to live with. I suppose our employers do need to watch for the few among us that choose to make foolish choices. The lack of evident trust from management is a slap in the face, though.

That does indeed sound like over-kill. At my work site our e-mail and Internet use is monitored. I agree, JDoors, an employer spying is annoying.

Interesting indeed, my friend:-) I'm curious to see if the good people at Debian get this sorted out. I'm currently running Fire Fox 1.5.0.7 on Debian Etch and hope to keep running it on future releases. I'm okay with Debian calling it some generic name "flame hound" maybe, heh-heh:-)

Have fun with the re-format, my man! I'll see you when you're back. I just did a clean install on one of my Linux boxes a few days ago.

Great story, shanenin:-) I also read that Munich, Germany is also migrating towards Linux.

I like to use Slackware, Debian, and FreeBSD at home:-) At work I've got several Ubuntu boxes running for ease of maintenance.

Why not delete? We don't want them to be able to come back again, and a ban prevents them from showing up here.
