Prevx1 is better then WinPatrol, but I think WinPatrol is much easier too setup and provides good protection. If there is a free version of Prevx1 give it a spin if not stick with WinPatrol.

Well I would just keep using Norton System Works until your license expires, then make the switch over to Avast

I have used ScriptTrap before and is usefull, very easy too configure/install but I didnt need it so I unistalled it..

I agree with this also. This is a nice little pack for beginners for basic internet protection. Just need to add a different antivirus possibly avg and add a firewall like zonealarm free.
