Personally, out of the two, I would go with the liteon drive. I've heard negative comments about Plextor drives. Like, you, I plan on purchasing a DVD burner soon as well. I am personally waiting until the day after thanksgiving (Black Friday) to see if perhaps some store might have one of those for a very good price. If not, there are a few drives I'm already looking into.

I don't recomend having 2 antiviruses at the same time at all, but others would disagree. Here's how they work out the conflicts. They use just one as their main antivirus; turning off the other's ability to start at boot up. When you wish to use that antivirus to scan, you have to turn off your "regular" antivirus.

I have the plugin located at the link that B posted, and it works perfectly.

It ended up being that IE just needed an update, so it is a possibility, but I'd still definately check for the spyware/virus things as well. Another thing, if those dont fix it, check in about updating drivers for things.....

They have been doing those upgrades VERRRRY slowly Since about August. Like you Tenmm, my good friend has had hers upgraded for some time. Like Hitest, I'm still waiting for mine to be done as well. The sad part is, I really need the upgrade.
