sounds like a good Idea. go for it. You wanna know how I learned how to build a computer? I tore down and rebuilt 2 or 3 different towers. Natural curiosity took over...........................time after time after time.

pricewatch will help you find the cheapest but the stores it links aren't always respectible. I suggest going to Newegg.com and shop around. They have very good prices on just about everything and a selection larger than any other. I would Suggest an AMD Athlon 64 Venice Core of some sort and a Motherboard from Asus, DFI, Gigabyte, MSI, or EPoX. Get something with either a VIA or nVidia Chipset. ATI chips ain't my favorite but they are OK too I guess. In the way of cases, Aspire is pretty good and if the case doesn't already have a PSU then get a Forton Source (FSP). Hope this stuff helps.

Are Most Agp Cards Compatible?
Honda_Boy replied to shanenin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
if it is 4X that means pratically any AGP card is compatible which that's what it looks like BUT, if it is 2X, Many 8X cards won't physically fit and if it has a 8X slot, which I doubt, no 2X card will fit. -
Firefox Switch Proxy Not Loading Ip List
Honda_Boy posted a topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Well I go to the load proxy from file thing and I have a list in .txt format (thats what it looks for) and everytime I try to load it, I get an error. It gives me all kinds of little codes in a pop up window. -
oh man, flippin' sweet. Unfortunately they have no Pagan's Mind. They've got Rush and Queensryche though. I wish they had something like a satelite system that did the same thing for your car. XM and Sirius just aren't what I want. They categories are far too broad.

Problems Installing A Game*update*
Honda_Boy replied to GrundleLove's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
ok dude when he said " I got a copy of NFSMW" he was saying he got a real one like when you say "hey I got a copy of that DVD at the store the other day" or " I got a copy of this new album". No disc you buy is the original so technicaly it is a COPY. Just leave this dude alone. Do you have any clue how hard it is to copy games today. they a re copy protected out the wazzoo especially EA games like the NFS series. Yes there are game copying software titles out there but most games are bound by a key. This key usually on newer EA game has to be registered. Kinda like windows Activation. So eve -
Problems Installing A Game*update*
Honda_Boy replied to GrundleLove's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
really usually this means a bad disc. make sure it is good and clean and not to scratched. I had probs with some discs and then cleaned em. They worked fine then but thats not always the case. Have you tried installing it on another computer to make sure it isn't the drive or windows? -

When you say you got a "copy" do you mean you purchased a legitimate copy at a store or you or someone else burned copies. -

they actually sell cases specifically ment for that purpose. ones that look like part of a entertainment center even. Here is a review of a bunch of them. Den Guru's Home Theater PC Case review

actually I have looked at all them. I've chosen the Aspire for particular features and an out there look. my current one is just a little out there but not as much as the aspire or Raidmax. I don't think i'm gettin the raidmax though, due to its price. I really like out there looks and potential for additional out there-ness.

Well I've had it with this dang MGE XG Sidewinder case. The HDD LED is broke, the USB ports broke within a month of building the system, the LED behing the logo is also broke, and it also looks like the front end of the case was already severly scratched when I first got it. I really think that was shoddy workmanship. I'm fed up with this case. I'm gettin either Raidmax Sagitta or an Aspire X-Plorer (prbably the aspire) and I'm gettin a Forton Source 400W PSU. Check em out. These cases are awesome lookin and have mod potential. Raidmax Sagitta Aspire X-Plorer Forton 400W PSU Since I am more t

If you are cutting the wires on the fans a good way to test them is to get a 12V charger for 9V Radio control car batteries.

I actually have a green neon shift knob in the basement. my bro back about 6-7 years ago got it for his 88 Fiero. needless to say it wasn't there long. THey still sell the exact same one at advance and O'Reily's and maybe even NAPA where he works now. I HATE car neons though. I look at people drivin by with them on the bottom of their cars and shake my head as I look at the complete and utter waste of money (also applies to spinners, euro tail lights, ridiculosly large wheels, *note wheels not tires, oversized tires are fine*, 6 foot tall wings, body kits, etc.) I'm still havina heck of a ti

refurbished or even outright used ain't bad. I have a used Dell M991 19" CRT I bought from a friend for $40. It works great and has worked great for my friend for like 2 or 3 years. If it's anything like my old CTX, It ought to last 5 more years if not longer.

wish I had some kinda artistic skill (or innitiative for that matter). The only thing I can manage to be artistic with is Legos and Erector Sets. I have what I like to call "stupid hands". I have trouble keeping my hands steady and can't make a straight line for nothin. I can only work with material that isn't too hard to work with. Kinda like my ghetto speaker mod. Cardboard DVD drive boxes, a pair of car speakers, wire, and an Altec-Lansing BX3 sub/amp. I have managed to make a computer desk out of an old sewin machine table if that counts for anything. Didn't really mod anything, just som
