all flash drives will work with winme...98 if you load the drivers...nt doesn't have usb support. I do have a file that gives nt4.0 usb support and the flash should work then. if I had access to my nt4.0 machine I would try that to be sure.

well I have discovered that my video problem is revelant to CNN...I went to numerous sites and WMP works fine everywhere else...I don't think that CNN likes anything with the word "FOX" in it. oh that was cynical...slap me for saying that.

I have WMP 9....the player also has a different interface inIE and Firefox.

ok..I hope some can answer this. sometimes I watch videos at cnn.com. the video player is different in IE and Firefox. I can handle that. what I can't handle is the fact that the video always works in IE but works only ocassionally in Firefox. in Firefox the commercial video works but when it starts showing the main video it loses the picture. WHY? here's what I have tried. cleared cache- moved wmp dll files to firefox plug-ins and rebooted. nothing seems to fix the problem. sometimes the video shows and sometimes it doesn't....how do I fix this??????????

when I lived in north texas there was a bounty on coyotes...here in oklahoma there are about 8 elk that venture into town...I have seen then about 30 yards from our house...deer is also abundant here...everyone I know (except me) has hit a deer at least once.

I agree...history will record the microchip and the computer to be the things that have changed the world the most..I could never dream that I would be chatting with someone from australia or england....I hope I'm still around to see the technological advancements in the year 2020.

that program is very good...I was amazed how many deleted files were on my computer...most were recoverable.

oh christ...don't remind me...1941...about 6 weeks old when pearl harbor was attacked...4 miles to school and sometimes we were lucky enough to have a bus...kerosene lamps...battery powered radios...wind up victrolas...no tv and no electricity...5 cent movies when we could afford the nickel...out houses...wood cookstove...drawing water from a well...crank telephones...I could write a book.

just another reason I stay with winme...I can go into windows explorer...temp internet files...content IE...and delete the 5 indexdat folders. -

I know my maltese must love us....he lets us sleep on HIS king size bed..you'd be surprised how much room a 9 pound dog can take up on a king size bed.
