can anyone think of why WMP doesn't work at cnn.com? nothing has changed on my system. I upgraded all my security and did all the scans...no problems. it worked up til a few days ago. nothing unusual has been happening other than this. strange thing is it works in firefox but not in IE.

you can format the drive but you will never see the full 1 gig. I think they have an untouchable system file on there someplace. I formatted my 512 Mb but it only gives me 480 Mb

well it was an old application a buddy gave me to try. found out it is a mac file anyway. the full extension is .sea.bin...........not worth the effort. I threw it in the trash.

how do you open a .bin file?

well you could use something like win 98se or winme. our very own "the terrorist 75" is the local windows expert. he is extremely knowledgeable on either os and he can get you setup. some people may disagree with me but I perfer wordperfect over ms office.

I've never done this before. what do I need to capture music from a video to my hard drive? can I do this with wmp 9? can I do this with audacity which I already have? I don't want a 30Mb complicated program..make it simple.

I have a program ..expert home design for windows, version 1.1.. that does a good job on drafting. it is less than 1 Mb. it is what I use for drawing my remodel or home building plans. with a little imagination you can get the measurements to1\4". this is an old win 3.1 program but it works with wnime. look for it on ebay. not free but maybe $5.
