  1. Thanks a bunch TT. The second link was exactly what I needed. It would have been a real hassel to reset everything to just how I hadit... Brett
  2. That is very usefull to know when it happens again, but it happened yesterday, and no matter what processes I stop, firefox always loads the newly created profile. Is there anyway to change profiles? Maybe it saved there somehow... Thanks Brett
  3. When I tried to open firefox yesterday, for no reason a box appeared saying which profile I would like to load. The only option was "default", so I clicked it, but it brought up an error message (not exactly sure what it said) and it wouldnt let me log in as the default user. The only way to get to firefox was to create a new profile, which I did, and now I dont have any of my old firefox settins (bookmarks, extentions, themes, etc) Can anyone help? Thanks, Brett
  4. ohhhhhh that made my day! Thanks cherokeechief.... Brett
  5. Ok, thanks Bubba Bob. After all that, I have decided to use frontpage for this specific site. I thought I might be able to make a pretty nice page using notepad, but it just got too complicated. jsbowen, I have bookmarked the web album generator site for future reference! Brett
  6. Thanks Bubba Bob.... Right now I'm on another computer that doesn't have frontpage, so I'll probably test it out tomorrow and see if it works. Brett
  7. Actually Bubba Bob, I do have frontpage on one of my computers, but I never really put any time into learning it If you could just give me a brief summary on how to do this 'filmstip' type thing in frontpage, I could take the code from it and insert it into my notepad file. Thanks a bunch, Brett
  8. No, sorry.... Not quiet what I'm looking for... I think you're right Bubba Bob, in looking for sites that use this feature instead of tutorials on how to code it though.... If anyone comes across a page that looks similar the filmstrip Windows offers, please let me know! Brett
  9. Ok, I have another question that is a bit harder, but I think its best to keep it under one thread.... Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a 'filmstrip' using html in notepad. What I mean by 'filmstrip' is basically the same thing Windows uses to view pictures under "My Pictures" (once in My Pictures, right click, go to View -> Filmstrip) So what I would like is to have one big picture on top, then a bunch of little thumbnails under it, and when you click on a thumbnail, it becomes the bigger picture. Don't know if this is possible, but I have yet to find anything on
  10. Just what I was looking for.... Thanks Bubba Bob. Searching freeware didn't even cross my mind.... I didn't think they would have a menu builder! Brett
  11. Ok, well my friend is a pretty good artist, and he wants me to make him a basic web page with his art on it, so he can show it to his family, which for the most part, lives on the other side of America. So I don't want to make it really dull, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a table on the side of the page that contains mouseovers. My inspiration for this is found on the packers website (http://www.packers.com/) I thought maybe I could just view the page source of the packers page, and figure it out myself, but I've had no luck at that If someone could just give me a basic outl
  12. I just started to love computers about 1 1/2 years ago.... Everything is just about self taught for me. The only exceptions are hijackthis training (of course) and video editing (some lovely Canadian took the time to answer all of my questions about video editing via email ) Besides that, I too learned from the "Oh Sh!t" method Brett
  13. Those are very nice pictures Duco. As said before, I like the 2nd link the best! One questions... Who is this??? She doesn't look to happy Brett

I ended up getting something like a 96 on it, and it was a really hard teacher, so I most have covered all of the essentials As mikex said, thank you for your service!!! Brett

  23. Sorry if this joke isn't told properly, but I heard it about a week ago, so it's not too fresh in my mind...... Jack and Susie were happily married for 25 years. They lived ordinary lives, drove normal cars, and had boring jobs. The following conversation took place when Susie had her midlife crisis: Susie: I'm so sick of our ordinary lives! We've had the same boring jobs, drove the same unexciting cars, and lived in the same dull house!!! Jack: Honey, you're just going through a midlife crisis. Our lives are perfectly fine.... The conversation got heated until finally it came to a breaking
