Follow this string :- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Control -> SessionManager -> MemoryManagement -> PrefetchParameters. Then look at the Prefetch string and change the value from 3 to 5. it doesn't matter if you keep it Hexadecimal or Decimal. Hey Handplane... I noticed after loading v1.3 that unless I closed ZA, and my active Virus protection, that it took for ever to scan. Not so in Safe Mode...

There are many possibilities. First, what type data are you trying to hide? Alpha-numeric is easier to hide than others, say Mpegs. There are loads of encryption utilities available for free that will do what you want... just seargh Google for *free encryption utilities*. XP home/Pro has the ability to low-level encrypt/password protect folders via the *Send to compressed Folder* right-click option. Once compressed, look in the *File* pull-down tab, and you will see an option to password protect the contents.... *Note* this does not hide the folder/folder name. Also, Start > Control Panel

Hey WhiteWolf.... thanKs for the hotlink... I saw a slowdown in start-up sequience after converting to NTFS... Thanks again, Brian " You need to start your command prompt, go to run, then type in cmd and a black window will pop up with the c:\ prompt. On that line just type in defrag c: -b and it will defrag the prefetch file for you. When it is done just type exit and the window will close and you are done. If the file was really fragmented you will notice a difference in the time it takes to boot up Windows, usually faster.....also make sure you get the spacing in what I told you to type

The *Send To* folder is hidden by default. Through the Control Panel, click Folder Options > View > and make sure *View hidden files and folders* is checked. Then it's a simple matter of creating a shortcut within the *Send To* folder (C:\Windows\Send To) for any app/destination you want. Hope this helps... Brian
