Hi Marty!!!!... Here in the States there are a lot of Eyeglass places that take donations of old glasses and from people who have passed away then recycle them for people who can't afford an expensive pair... Maybe there is some place like that around where you are that has the same prescription you need and you could get them fairly cheap and put the lenses in new frames... Cheers, Keith

I had stored 4-gallons of water just in case so I got enough to drink for a while... But I will probably boil a bunch anyways to wash with...

Well the cable TV is back, the only thing that is bad is the water pressure... Seems a pumping station is out, hopefully it'll be working by tomorrow night or I'll have a cold time washing up for work on Monday...

Well for me it isn't that bad.. I still have Power & Internet but no TV We just got to get through the rest of the day and it will then be gone...

I'm watching the weather reports. we should start getting the high winds and stuff around 9-p.m. and they may last for 12-hours straight until the storm passes. This thing is going to be nasty... I got 2-1/2 cases of beer so I should be fine... Hahahahahaha

I've been playing with Chrome since yesterday... I don't see any speed increase over Firefox 2.0.0.16 at all, it seems FF starts displaying a page faster and then paints the rest as with Chrome it has a bit of a delay then the whole page shows up (Possibly only on my machine) and I haven't checked it against FF3.01, I like the fact it got all my bookmarks from FF almost instantly... I've read some complaints of errors with Gmail but I think that is just those persons machine since Gmail work flawlessly for me in Chrome... One thing that did happen when I was shutting down my machine was Spybo
