  3. Someone care to explain...I was in band for all of 18 weeks. Well, my dad and brother took the joke differently. My dad took the joke as I did, in that no one ever pays attention to the conductor. My brother took the joke as no one pays attention to the trombone players, especially the second chair trombone player. When you think about it, both make sense Mark

  11. "WELDING GLOVES: Heavy duty leather gloves used to prolong the conduction of intense welding heat to the palm of your hand" Also makes a nice pair of BBQ mitts, the grease and dirt stains add extra flavor "OXYACETYLENE TORCH: Used almost entirely for lighting various flammable objects in your shop on fire. Also handy for igniting the grease inside the wheel hub you want the bearing race out of" Also good for reheating leftover coffee and lighting your cigarette, leaving half of it for you to smoke Mark
  12. No, it wasn't intentional....at least I don't think. Just another example of poor quality control management on the part of Menu Foods and Proctor& Gamble. 60 MILLION cans recalled! The fallout from this hasn't even started yet. Here in Ohio, there's a big lawsuit against Land O Lakes. They produce feed for alpacas. There's a dozen farms here that raise them. Seems they sold contaminated feed and the alpacas started dropping like flies. The company admitted it was a bad batch. It's a big buck lawsuit. I had no idea alpacas cost so much. Mark
  13. Sounds like a nice place. I'm glad for you. Don't mess it up to bad with the open house party Mark

  21. Considering the other problems you have had with this computer, if you still have no luck, you might want to start over from scratch if that's an option. I'd rather see you solve the problem, but keep that option open if it's possible Mark
  22. Yes, sushi rice makes it a little bit easier. Did you use the bamboo rolling mats? It helps pack it a little. Tuna is the only fish I'll eat raw Mark
  23. Here's a link to Intel's site for troubleshooting your system's audio. You can also download new drivers there. If for some reason, you cannot repair the onboard audio, you can always disable it in the BIOS and buy a sound card, as a last resort Mark Intel
  24. Go to Control Panel>System>click on the Hardware tab> Select Device Manager. Click on the "+" next to sound and audio, so it will expand the tree. Look for any yellow exclamation marks. You should most likely remove your sound device and reboot the computer. Wiindows will then reinstall the device Mark
  25. Somehow I think you would have handled farm life just fine Mark
