    Eagle Cam

They have been watching the falcons in cleveland for a long time. Even before webcams, they would have it on the evening news every night Mark

    Cyclones

Funny things about about tornados(cyclones) is they're unpredictable. I was in one once where it leveled our neighbors house and not 50 foot away didn't even blow a leaf off our tree or touch the house Mark
  3. The most important thing to do is to quit using that computer until the decision is made on how to repair it. The more you use the computer it will possibly overwrite over what you need Mark
  4. "To make matters worse mom wasn't droppin me off at school in a PT Cruiser but now in a 96 Buick LeSabre" IT'S A CAR "i thought every one in the usa was from affluent familys" I wish I had a smiley that rolls on the floor and laughs "i thought i was the only one with a home made ccompt because i coudnt afford the top of the line machine" All mine are home-built with over 1/2 the components from "road-side pick-up" or hand-me-downs "i found many posts interesting because you are no different from me" We are probably more alike than you realize Mark
  5. Try baby shampoo to clean, rub radially, not in a circular motion. How to remove scratches by Roger Chang Mark
  6. Actually, it brings back many fond memories. The only way my kids seen farm animals was to go to the county fair Mark
  7. My kids can't believe that when we got our first telephone, not only did it NOT have pushbuttons, we shared the same phone line with 10 other people on the street Mark

  12. Mescaline is also know here as peyote. To the American Indian it's used in certain religious ceremonies. That being said, Has anyone heard from Bearskin recently? Mark
  13. Yeah, some kid just posted on G4 complaining his IP shut off his access for downloading a movie Mark
  14. I know this is an old thread, but since I just received one I thought I'd add my 2¢. I wouldn't use it on circuit boards. It's too big, tip-wise, and clumsey. In fact, it could actually damage static-sensitive components. I will keep it in my toolbox for quick, non-sensitive jobs Mark Found a review that I agree with HERE
  15. Hey Liz. Got any seeds? Of course the flowers wouldn't last long here. The kids around here would sniff them out in no time Mark
  16. The thing I try to instil in my wife is with the proper help/instruction, you can troubleshoot and solve your own problems. Insted of relying on the likes of Geek Squad. She tends to roll her eyes, but since the time I almost died, she pays a little more attention and is starting to learn. Of course Besttechie is in her bookmarks. Now I just have to teach her how to use and post on a forums Mark
  17. Huh? Whaaaat? Not me. I just love the scientific statement saying it's positively linked to teen suicide. To think 1/2 these nitwits smoked herb growing up Mark

  19. I use a trackball because that's what I learned computing on. I'm actually more responsive on it. Don't know how well I could use the ergo-friendly one Mark
  20. Liz: YOU SAID IT!!! I love kids, and seeing this makes me glad that I am an uncle many times over - I sometimes wish I could see my nieces and nephews more, but times somtimes are hard to nail down sometimes - people say I would be a good dad, but being an uncle will increase my patience *grin* Kids: our future, our students :> Brian Being an uncle means you can buy your niece/nephew that drum set for Christmas Mark
  21. This is the type of trackball I was refering to. It's all I've ever used. Never used a regular mouse until I built my wife's computer. Yes it's the same type of guides as in an old ball- type mouse. Of course the ceramic balls would be worth more than the old mouse Trackball
  22. Not sure if anyone here uses one. While I was cleaning the ball guides on my trackball, I lost one of the guides. I replaced the acrylic ones with ceramic ball bearings. It is lightning fast and I don't seem to get hardly any buildup of lint, crumbs or whatever. They're not cheap but I paid a fair amount of money for my trackball and it was well worth it Mark
  23. It's still early for me. What browser are you using? Have you upgraded a firewall or spam blocker, etc? Make sure to clear your cache and temp. files. Mark
