  1. I'm kind of wondering about battery life. Another thought, you didn't mention if the bus was a school bus or a charter. Maybe you could match a 12V adapter to the router and sweet talk the driver into using his lighter/power plug. Mark
  2. I get it. God rest old Ernie Mark

  10. Reminds me of my friend, a police sargent. He had a kid come for his daughter. It was 30 degrees outside and this kid was wearing cutoffs so short his gonads were hanging out and knee-high mucklucks. I think he's somewhere with Chuck Mark
  11. Brings back fine, fine memories of my History teacher Miss Mattingly. Oh, the sweaters she used to wear. She had every male in school drooling. Hey I admit it. I'm a pig. Like I tell my daughters, All men are pigs Mark
  12. Mark: Is it possible that the reason that favorites "disappear" is because of some "Glitch" with IE7? It seems like the information that I have researched lends creedence to the fact that the way IE7 operates and handles Favorites is significantly different then what you find in IE6 - this is because of the design of the program. There are lots of links that discuss IE7 and the differences and the problems with the browser that you can google. Chief of these is that fact that some favorites disappear after being added. This is why I am staying with IE 6 until the bugs are worked out of IE7
  13. Are you sure she's just not confused and doesn't know where to look for them? I use Firefox, but I downloaded IE7 with Win. update. I opened it up and clicked on the star and everything was there, no problem Mark

  18. About the memory you installed. You said you installed a Gig so I assume it was 2 sticks of 512 DDR2 dual channel. Was it the same brand as what you already have? Mark
  19. I suggest you not to disconnect the speaker. You have a problem somewhere. It might just be annoying at the moment, but it will eventually get worse. You changed 3 things. Did you run Memtest86 as suggested? When you replaced your processor did you use heatsink compound?. BFG is pretty good with their support Mark BFG support AMD forums

  23. I planned on laying out the holes then insert long thin machine screws through the back side. I would run one down to hold the screw in place then use two nuts (either side of board) to hold the board in place. I would also attach some L brackets to hold a power supply and different drives. I remembered this post from awhile back. Check out Navig's project Mark First one second one
  24. 99% of my print jobs are text. I have a Brother laser printer that I love. Of course after our first grandchild arrives in June, I'm sure the wife will want a photo printer. Mark So, your wifw got any good recipes?
