  1. Humming birds love Bottle Brush's. I have 2 in the front of the house and have sat on the porch and seen as many as 15 or so there at one time. They will fly right by my face. I have seen some of their babies that aren't as big as your thumb from the end to the frist joint. They don't nest in the bottle brush trees. Have seen them also land and I guess catch their breath or rest for about a minute. Then they are back at it.

  2. Bubba, Do you know Johnny and Ann Jordan up there in Ozark?

You didn't try to salvage it? lol

    LOL! No. Tempting...

I know several Jordans... Johnny sounds familar but I can't place it. I notice you're in Baker. That's pretty darn close to where the old family homestead was a couple generations back... Allentown/Milton area I beleive. Know any McLaughlin's down there?

He has Jordan Enterprise I believe it is called. Machine shop and is big in Drag Racing. The shop is right on 331. They have 2 sons. Jeff and Jerrell.

I knew a Steve McLaughlin in Milton that worked for the School Board Years ago.

  3. The problem I had with 8 is that it turned into a resource hog like norton and was killing my system's performance. If 8.5 has corrected that, I'd like to try them again. I've since switched to avast. It's interface is a little irritating but it does it's job like a champ without hurting my system's performance.

Never have I had it a resource hog. None of the versions have done this or let me down.

  4. Not everything you posted is right Pete. The scan is set to scan say at 10 and if the PC is off, it won't scan when it is turned on. It will wait till 10 to do so. Now if it is supposed to check for updates at say 9 and the PC is off at 9, it will check when the PC is turned on. I have NEVER had and e-mail deleted and have NEVER had a false positive with it. I have NEVER had it burn me, but have had Norton and McCrappy both burn me and a couple of friends. Reviews are good to a certain point, but when MY real world is OK, I trust MY real world. I have 4 PC's and several friends who have PC's and also the local Fire Dept that all use AVG and I maintain them for them and have never had this problem To me that is the REAL world. I hope that you don't think that I am argueing with you or calling you a liar, because I am not. This is just my honest opinion.

  5. I have never used this program on my Linksys and all 4 of my PC's have no problem getting on line. The kids and grandkids come over here with their laptops and they don't have a problem either. Delete it.

    With Network Magic you can:

Easily add new computers, printers and devices to your network

Share printers and files among computers in your network running different versions of Windows

    Monitor and repair your network

    Protect against wireless network intruders

View your entire network on the network map

All of this can be done without this program pretty easy.

Here is a link if you have any problems removing it. Read the first 2 or 3 for some help.

  6. Got it on all 4 of my PC's and the rest of the family and friends and the Local Fire Dept. does also. I have never had it let me down in the 6 or 7 years that I have been using it. It is still supported. They just stop supporting older versions of it and basicly re write the program to the next version.

  7. In FF, go to Tools and Clear private data. Then boot into Safe Mode (usually tapping the F2 Key constantly as the PC is booting) and from the menu choose Safe Mode. Then do what I said above about deleting everything and then run a Disc Defrag. Then boot into regular mode and see what happens.
