  1. +1 I dont see a need in spending the money right now.
  2. Umm ... Unless they're clogged (unlikely) it won't have a noticeable effect (the size of the pipe is more important ... isn't that always the case? ). Got the truck back. The difference in power is noticable. I took it on a couple hills that it used to couldnt do in overdrive. It plowed right up them. Sounds great to. Nice and throaty. Good ol' American V8 sound. I hope the gas milage shows the same results.
  3. Umm ... Unless they're clogged (unlikely) it won't have a noticeable effect (the size of the pipe is more important ... isn't that always the case? ). The cats are 23 years old now. I drilled a hole in my muffler and its filled with pieces of the honey comb. Besides, in anotehr month Ill be in Alabama. Can you say no emissions testing? Another thing, my mechanic is doing it for $60
  4. Wow Last time I used something with a 2:3 tq to horsepower ratio.... I was holding a weedeater. Kidding... It was a gas blower. No really, Im sorry. Thats not nice. Im lookin at 12mpg in my truck. It gets the catalytic converters cut off tuesday and a new pipe and muffler. Im hoping the MPG goes up a bit.

  11. Tahnks Shanenin, Im reading that as we speak. TT, Im not sure what your getting at there. The drives are already dynamic.
  12. Ha! Good one. That will deff. make you think twice before complaining. ALthough, I cant imagine what his salary is like.
  13. That amount of storage is insane... No SATA drives. It pisses me off mirroring is disabled is Xp PRO. Good grief... You can do it with Windows 2000, but not XP?!?!?! Thank you Microsoft.
  14. 9 320's Wow. Anyway, like Falcon mentioned, it should Ill look into that right now. EDIT: The PC is a Compaq EVO W6000... SATA drives? Who knows? Ill check. LOL
  15. Alright, I made both drives dynamic, but "Add Mirror" is still grayed out in the disk manager. I did some reading a few sites mentioned disk mirroring cant be done in anything but Windows Server... Argh... Any thoughts on how this can be done?
  16. Alright, Wikipedia talks about the software side of a Raid 1 setup, but doesnt really say much about how its done. Now that I know what to look for hopefulyl google will come up with something this time. EDIT: Got it :http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=830&page=5 /EDIT Is this something XP pro w/ a a dual CPU xeon machine can handle or would it be better to get a raid controller? Has anyone done this before?
  17. That would be it. So I was a bit of with my terminology? Explains why nothing was comin up on Google... Thanks T.
  18. THanks Shanenin, but Im looking mroe for how to set this system up so both drives are written on simeltaniously. (I should have explained that a bit better)
  19. Hey Guys, I need some help on how to do this. Ive searched google but still cant figure it out. 22. Good Job A nice self confidence boost, huh? How hard was it to get the laptop back together?
  23. Its complicated, has extra wires, extra noise, extra space, extra electricity... Errr, that's why I went back to a regular router. It's an excellent learning opurtunity though! ??? Extra wires? 1 Cat5 Extra noise? My PC puts out a whole 20-25db. My dog farts louder. Extra space? 8" x 16" Extra electricity? 1-2 light bulbs worth. 1 cat5, plus (for me) it was a KVM switch, and two VGA/ps2 harnesses. <<< biggest issue for me My computer room is already a dull buzz... another PC didn't help A router cleanly sits anywhere... a small PC case doesnt. 1-2 lightbulbs... ok, wont argue.
