i had this happen to me and it was a hdd which some one had changed the pin from a the main drive to a slave and also the bios showed to boot from the floppy or the cd [cant remember now ] once i set to boot from the hdd it was away yoho thyme my it is good to see you post we miss you here dont leave it to long to post love to your family those kids are starting to grow take care msrty

sorry team i havent been to the thread for some time prepareing for xmas ok the compt has no life at all the monitor lights up but the compt is dead at first it was working and i tried to install an operating sys xp or ubuntu but it wouldnt load so the owner tried new ram and that was when the trouble started i have a feeling the power pac has short circuited tho ime no authority on power pacs is there any other reason for the compt to die other than the power pac thanks marty
