which linux are you going to install? many of them will install the bootloader, either lilo or grub, to make it a dual boot automatically It does require a reboot to switch from one os to the other The install program will ask which partition you want to install to

Recently a routine RCMP patrol parked outside a bar just off the Main Highway at Goobies, Newfoundland. After last call the officer noticed a Man leaving the bar so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. You have always added so much to this forum and it is missed. the little bump in the road that you are talking about was not enough for you to keep yourself away like this. I understand and feel for you with your real world situation but stuff happens and one's life can turn around overnite. You just need to keep hope and it will happen.
