Hi X-Cannon. Sure you could install SP2. Every read that thread called "repair xp search"? now, im not saying the was sp2's fault, but after it installed that's when I noticed it. Hey, B even says to install it, and I kept it on mine. Sure install it. But keep things backed up. lol I doubt you'll have prblems. It all depends on the computer. M@

On the board index at the bottom, under board stats, there is a link called last click. click it, and it will tell what each member's last click was (i.e. where they are) Last Click M@

Thanks marty, yes I was talking about that search. unfortunately, it was checked - I did uncheck and recheck it; but no go. hi tictoc - yes, I was thinking this would be the final option. Although, this is infact the last thing I want to do. Not really big into backing up 20 gigs - nor do I think the parenets would allow it. But, if that's what it comes to - that may be what I do. Did a repair install of Windows, and it didn't work! Still search problem!!! Guessing perhaps (like Nerelda said) an outside program might be interfering. Will delete all progrmas added with the past moth that are not needed.... M@

Just a suggestion, but you could try a 3d interface of your desktop. that way you will be able to ratoate around the "sphere" and get to programs you can't see, or move back and forth in the depth of the desktop. Most people (including myself) like it for a while, but then I thought it just got annoying. You could give it a shot, see if you like it. Sphere XP M@

Hey all - got a question. Do you know of a way I could download this? I tried plucking the swf file from my temp folder onto my desktop and playing in quicktime - but it says unacceptable media (or something like that) is contained, and couldn't. Tried a flash downloading tool - same result. Any ideas? M@
